You are not alone,

for I am here.

The sadness and sorrow,

I will claim.

What was brought unto you,

shared; balanced with me.

For if you fall in the fire,

I will be the one to burn in the flame.

Though with solace comes empathy,

and with empathy comes despair.

Consumed with a veil of selflessness,

until it becomes too much to bare.

You and I are kindred,

you show no mercy to my heart.

Even as our eyes locked onto eachother's,

they never felt the need to part.

You are me,

and I am you.

For I am alone,

for I am here.
