Ex-best friend

Third person's POV

Y/n and Chaelin run out of the amusement park from Namjoon, Taehyung and Namjoon's other friend. They didn't know any other way to escape from that awkward conversation. After they get out of the amusement park, Y/n starts to laugh. She doesn't know why, maybe it's because she gets to spend time with Chaelin. Her parents never stay home for Christmas, most of the time in general. They just give her some money and let she spend it on her own. Back to Hawon,they used to be best friends and have a lot of things in common. But that friendship doesn't last long because of one reason, boys.

Y/n's POV

You go inside the school like usual. But there's something strange today, you can feel all the eyes are on you.
Is there something on my face?Wait...is it because of my uniform?
You turned around to check if there's something on your skirt or shirt but find nothing.
"Hey do you know that girl...I heard that she's lesbian", you hear some people whisper to their friends.
Are they talking about me... nah I don't think so... they said a girl but there are so many girls here...maybe it's not me.
You continue walking through to hallway.
"Oh my god really!I never knew that she's bisexual! Her name is Y/n right... the leader of Sunny?, a girl gasps to her friend. Um...WHAT?
You walk to them, "Excuse me...why are you guys talking about me?"
"I don't know what you're talking about!I didn't say anything about you!", she sounds like she just see a ghost. You stop talking to her and walk away. You hear footsteps coming from behind,
"Hey ex-best friend!" You turn around and Hawon is standing right in front of you with a smirk on her face.
"It's you right?!", you say calmly to her.
"What do you mean, I don't understand?", Hawon tries to act innocent.
"Ok I am tired from all of your shit. Why do you keep bothering me?!", you cannot control your temper anymore.
"Yeah it's me!!! I do these things because you ruined my life first, this is just karma!", she bursts out.

~Flashback~Third person's POV~

"So you're going to tell him for me right?", Hawon asked her best friend.
"Of course, you're too shy to tell him. But I think that he likes you too Hawon-ah!", Y/n chuckled. The two girls were planning to do something. Hawon had some kind of feelings for a guy, but she didn't think that she can confess to him. So, she asked her best friend to do that. They had been best friend from the start of 1st grade and they can do anything for each other. They continued to chat about their elementary school memories with each other while waiting for the guy to come. "He's your first crush right?", Y/n interrupted.
"Yeah my first crush ever. It's funny how I can't fall for any boys during elementary school and middle school but now I have a crush while I'm a freshman," the other girl questioned herself. "I thought that you will not have any crushes for all of elementary, middle, and high school. But here you are, having a crush in the first year of high school", Y/n replied to her best friend. "You're seriously growing up", Y/n pinched Hawon's nose. Hawon's eyes widened as the sight of the boy behind Y/n. Her crush had arrived. He resembled a bunny with his cute looking features. Hawon looked at him in awe but popped out of her thought when he came closer.
"He's here", Hawon fangirled, squealing under her breath.
"Time do do my work", Y/n responded in confidence. Hawon ran away to hide from her crush. No matter how much she liked him, she still cannot face him.

The boy ran to Y/n energetically by the moment he saw her. "HEY Y/N", he smiled and waved at her.
"Hey Jungkook", she waved back. Y/n only saw him as a friend, she only talked to him because of Hawon. But Jungkook viewed her differently. To be specific, he had a crush on her. When she first talked to him, he took the chance to be more closer to her. When she asked him to meet in private, he was so happy; He also had something to tell her.
"Jungkook...I have something to tell you", Y/n was ready to tell Jungkook about Hawon.
Y/n's voice made his heart fluttered, "Wait Y/n, I have something to tell you first."
"Sure you can talk first, I'm listening", she smiled at him.
That smile made him more nervous to confess that he almost peed in his pants, "I-I like y-you Y/n." His words made her froze, she didn't know how to respond. She hoped that Hawon didn't heard those words...but Hawon did. She stopped hiding and came out, standing in front of Jungkook. It was all silent for a whole minute, the only thing that was audible was the sound of them breathing.
"Actually...Hawon is the one who has feeling for you...I meet you in privacy because I wanted to tell you that she likes you...", Y/n broke the awkward silence between them. "Oh...", the boy's turned his head to look at Hawon. His face was extremely red. "I-I'm sorry Hawon but I don't have any feelings for you.", Jungkook looked down at the ground. It was the sentence that broke Hawon's heart into million of pieces. Her first crush rejected her and turned out to like her best friend. She felt mad inside.
"I get it, it's fine", Hawon walked away. "Hawon-ah... Bye Jungkook I have to follow her...", Y/n left Jungkook standing there alone.

Hawon let her anger controlled her. She knew that Y/n was following her, but she didn't stop. She kept walking and walking until she got annoyed by Y/n.
"YAH STOP FOLLOWING ME", she screamed at her best friend.
"Hawon-ah are you good? Stop walking away from me", Y/n begged. "I know that it is painful to not have your crush like you back, but you can like another guy. You can always find new guys, there are a bunch of boys at our school.", Y/n continued begging until Hawon stopped walking. She slapped Y/n. That was the first time Hawon had hit Y/n; They never had a fight with each other before.
"Why does he like you and not me? Why are you always better than me in everything? Fuck off Y/n...I don't want to see you anymore." Hawon stopped talking to Y/n after that day. Everytime when Y/n tried to make a conversation, Hawon acted like Y/n is invisible. Y/n still cannot believe that she had lost her best friend just because of a boy. About Jungkook, he moved to a different school because he cannot face Y/n anymore. He thought that she also had feelings for him, so he confessed. He thought that they can become a couple and live happily ever after like in the fairytales he had read.He should have listened to his mom to not fall for any girl in school.
