In October, I got accepted into the college of my dreams, the whole family was so proud of me and threw me a small party, amongst family and friends.

But all I really wanted was my Ky and his hugs, unfortunately I got a surprise and not a happy one..

The day of my party when Ky walked in, my smile was so huge, I was surprised my face didn't split down the middle but it quickly died because my Ky wasn't along, no...

He was with a red haired girl, she was absolutely gorgeous, but that's not why my smile died, no it was because he was holding her slender hand in his, rubbing her knuckles every so often, yes I saw everything, I usually loved watching people's habits but this was breaking me.

You know how people say never judge a book by the cover?

I tried it, by not defining their relationship but when they came over, a heart was, broken, specifically mine because my Ky introduced Cindy(the red head) as his girlfriend to my parents and me.

The hardest thing was that I couldn't even find it in me to hate Cindy because she was an absolute sweetheart to my parents and I.

After all how pathetic was I?
To think that I could've had a chance with someone as handsome as Ky?

Though I couldn't let my hurt show, so I put on a show instead.

There was a karaoke machine so I decided to sing something, my favorite song.

I was always told how great my voice was so here goes: Shawn Hook- Sound of your heart, staring an the floor I sang letting my cards show. Well kinda i mixed up Sam with Shawn.

Swear I even heard sniffing somewhere, then to ease the tension in the room I dedicated a song to my friend Mick aka Mickey- so Hey Mickey.

Pointing at him the whole time and swaying to the beat, some people where plain out laughing and Mick, he had stars in his eyes.

I couldn't help but laugh too, after the song ended Mick was there lifting me off the ground, spinning me around.

Ky, where you at? How you gonna let this guy lift your girl like that? 😂😁
