The car pulled away from the curb and Sherlock shuddered. Carmen felt his hand tighten around hers and she looked over at him worriedly. She knew she was going to be getting gray hair by the time this drama ended. John looked over at Sherlock with absolutely no pity in his gaze.

"Need another hit, do you?" he asked snidely.

Sherlock blinked hard as Carmen pulled her hand out of his, settling it on her lap. "It can wait until the hospital," Sherlock huffed. They got to the hospital and climbed out of the limo. All three of them headed inside. They got onto the elevator and went up to the children's wing. As they stepped off of the elevator a pretty nurse waited to escort them.

Carmen and Sherlock walked in first with John trailing behind. "Are you involved much?" the nurse asked quietly. John looked over at her, "Sorry, what?" The nurse ducked her head as she blushed, "Oh, with Mr. Holmes' cases."

"Uh, yeah," John said, "I'm John Watson... Dr. Watson?"

The nurse pursed her lips, "Erm, okay." She glanced up at Sherlock and Carmen, "Oh, I just love them together. They're such a good match. Don't you just love their blog?"

"Their blog?" John asked incredulously.

The nurse's smile dropped, "Oh, don't you read it?"

"It's my blog!" John said.

The nurse curled her lip slightly, "Oh, well, it's gone downhill a bit, hasn't it?"

Sherlock glanced over his shoulder and gave John a wink. He glared at him. The nurse moved past Sherlock and Carmen and led the way to a door. She pushed the door open, letting the three of them into the brightly painted children's area. One of the nurses in a Snoopy pair of scrubs smiled, "Oh, I love your blog!"

John let out a disbelieving huff. Now, he wasn't even the blogger. Mr. Smith was already waiting in the large room with the children. He smiled at them all. A baby cried, but Mr. Smith talked over him, "Right, here he comes, the internet tech. You all know Sherlock Holmes!"

The room burst into applause. Mr. Smith gasped, "Oh, and we cannot forget the lovely Carmen Hughes!" She gave a self-conscious bow as the room exploded into applause again. Everyone knew her as Sherlock's girlfriend and partner in crime. She had been on the covers of many tabloids multiple times.

"Oh, and Dr. Watson," Mr. Smith added as an afterthought. There was a smattering of applause. John frowned and rolled his eyes in exasperation. Mr. Smith turned to Sherlock, "Mr. Holmes, I was wondering, well, we were all wondering... maybe you could tell us about some of your cases?"

"No," Sherlock responded immediately.

Carmen elbowed him in the ribs and he gasped, "Oh, we'd love to."

"Er, yes," Sherlock corrected himself, "Absolutely, yes."

He turned to the room, "The main feature of interest in the field of criminal investigation is not the sensational aspects of the crime itself, but rather, the iron chain of reasoning from cause to effect that reveals, step-by-step, the solution. That's the only truly remarkable aspect of the entire affair. Now, I will share the facts and the evidence, as they were available to me. And in this very room, you will all attempt to solve the case of Blessington, the poisoner."

"I think you slightly gave away the ending there, Sherlock," Carmen said brightly.

Everyone laughed at the perfect couple's perfect joke. Sherlock continued, "There were five main suspects..." Carmen raised her hand, "One named Blessington." Sherlock threw his head back and sighed, "But it's more about how he did it, Carmen."
