HEY GUYS, FIRST OFF THIS STORY IS IN BITS AND NOT IN ORDER. WHEN IT IS FINISHED I WILL PUT IT ALL RIGHT. TIL THEN THOUGH - ENJOY WHATS HERE, ROSE X
And as the skies opened and the thunder filled the air the Angels were driven back to the heavens where they belonged. The Hybrids and Vampires rejoiced and a celebration rained over the city for weeks on end.
Little did they know that ridding a land of Angels would prove more disastrous than wise…but one being still remains capable of saving this world…forever.
‘Angels will Fall’
‘Absolutely perfect! What else could possibly go wrong at this moment?’ Marcus asked himself silently as he hid in the nettle bush.
It had not been a productive morning. There he was minding his own business, stalking one of the only deer that was stupid enough to be wondering around the forests edge when BAM! Out of nowhere this stupid Hybrid comes running along and ends up with Marcus’ arrow in his back. One dead Hybrid.
The deer, to Marcus’ annoyance, got away to live another day. Maybe it too would disappear like all the other animals and birds had since the woods stopped being so ‘homey’. Even Marcus had stopped going in there as often. Everything was dead in there now and he felt dead enough.
And now here he was, stuck in foliage while Hybrids hunted him, along with the Lycans whom with, quite frankly, he didn’t think had an argument with him at all but, hey, the more the merrier.
She sat on the edge of the wall watching with a soft smile on her face. He was in trouble again.
He lay there like a frightened child in a bush of nettles whilst those huge beasts combed the forest for him. Stupid Hybrids, it was their brothers own fault for diving right in front of that arrow without thinking. Although, everyone knew Hybrids weren’t big thinkers. Not really. They were known for putting their strength and hunger before anything else.
Poor Marcus, just lying there furious and cursing to himself. How he made her giggle sometimes with his little tantrums and his habit of clenching his jaw, making his lips pucker ever so slightly. It was quite adorable…for a vampire.
She had been watching him for quite some time, although he was a sworn enemy of her kind, she couldn’t help but find him interesting. He did not kill ruthlessly like the others. He drank from animals and humans like the rest but he would not kill them, he would just take what he needed and release his prey. It was almost…kind.
“Huh…a kind vampire. Whatever next?” She asked herself looking down at him in awe.
Suddenly lighting shocked through the skies and thunder echoed throughout the land. Wind whipped her red hair around her face and she knew that they had noticed her absence. She rolled her eyes and stood up from the wall.
“Alright, alright I’m coming away from the wall.” She called out to the skies. It really annoyed her when they did that. Couldn’t a subtle shout of her name suffice instead of a big show of thunder and lightning?
She looked back at the vampire and smiled.
“I will see you soon.” And with that she leapt into the air.
Marcus knew it was odd but he couldn’t help but feel as if someone was watching him constantly. Ever since he was turned he had always felt some sort of…presence. He had put it down to a ‘vampire thing’ and got on with it, but still he wondered.
All seemed quiet, the earth was still and the subtle warm wind was whispering to the trees. Perhaps the Lycans and Hybrids had moved on?
Marcus smelt the air, no foul odour…definitely gone then. He stood from his nettle prison and cursed as he brushed off the leaves and scratched at the stings.
