Amber's pov.
"Did you hear that Grayson and Amaya broke up?" my best friend Isabel spoke. I nodded. Grayson was well known around school. He was always well known. Just like his brother. His twin brother.
Who can blame them? They are the hottest pair of twins around. They work out and eat good. As of their wasn't another reason to love them. Their actually nice.
"I wonder why.." I asked her as she nodded. I made my way outside school with Amaya.
"I'll FaceTime you tonight alright?" I asked as I saw my brother Nathaniel pull up. She nodded and we hugged.
"Bye" we both said as I got into the passenger seat.
"How was school you rat?" he says making us laugh.
"It was alright you ugly thot" I said making us laugh and he finally drove.
"Well mom and dad are not gonna be here. Their out on a business trip for a least a month" he said making me look at him.
"Nath... Do you think they'll.. Get a d-divorce?" I ask. They always fight. Going on the business trip makes them fight even more about work. Its too much for me to handle. I can't stand when people fight. It gets me sad.
"Am I don't know... But just know I'm there for when you need anything alright?" he says parking the car in our drive way. We go for a hug and I smile.
"Thank you" I say and he pats my back.
"Its nothing. Now go inside and do your homework" he demands. I shake my head running up stairs to my room.
-Time skip-
Its 8:27pm and I'm bored. I finished all my homework and I've got nothing to do.
I'm still curious if Grayson and Amaya broke up. If they did why did it happen? Grayson is a sweet guy. Ethan, his brother is also a sweet guy. I talk to Ethan a bit more. We hang out sometimes, but only because we're in the same group.
"Yo" I heard Nathaniel say knocking on my door. I unlock the door and open it for him to come in.
"You want to order something? Cause you know I can't cook for shit" he says making me laugh.
"Yes please. Can we get mc donalds? Uber eats is at mc donalds you know?" I ask and he nods his head.
"Yes I know. You always have food coming from them" he says chucking and rolling his eyes.
"Yeah, haha. Well you know what I want" I say and he nods closing the door to my room.
Me and Nathaniel are like best friends. He my brother but, he's like my best friend. We do everything together. When I'm sad or he's sad, we try to make each other feel better. I'm so grateful for him. He's the one who's helped me through everything.
I get a call from Isabel making me grin.
"Heyy!" she says once the call connects. I laugh.
"Hey, did you find out anything about the whole grayson situation?" I ask. She shakes her head.
"Not at all. I haven't been on my phone all day" she sighs making me roll my eyes playfully.
"We were texting like 5 minutes ago?" I asked as she giggled.
"Alright maybe I was on my phone,but I still didn't find anything" she says making me wonder if it's even true.
I might have a small liking to Grayson. He was cool and nice. He wasn't a jerk.
"Shit my mom is calling me. Talk to you later, bye am" she said as I said bye and we hung up.
I groaned and laid back on my bed with a small thud of my pencil dropping.
What a boring day.
