Chapter 1 Part 2

'How do you know?'

Still Mike's POV
"She's not missing Lucas, She is hanging out
with Y/n's at Max's house" said Mark.

"How do you know, did you call Y/n?" Asked Lucas questionably.

"I call her every night to see if she is okay, and when she didn't pick up at her house, which she always does, and I got worried so I called Max because she always knows where Y/n is." Mike said blushing.

Lucas got a surprised look on his face. "Do you like her?"

Marks got a lump in his throat realizing what he just said out-loud. "What?! Ew, no, gross" he lied right through his teeth. "Just go Lucas, I'm still tired from last night"

"Fine" Lucas said throwing his hands in the air complaining. Lucas walks off his porch.

Marks walked back into his room thinking about the conversation they just had. He lied back down and was thinking. Just when he was drifting off to sleep, his mother walks into the room asking a million and one questions.

"Who was at the door?! Is Nancy home yet?!?" She said as she stuffing papers into her work bag

"Lucas was at the door and no, Nancy is not home yet." Mike said very very tiredly.

"What time did you end up going to bed last night Mike?" She said looking over at Mike.

But by then Mark already drifted back to sleep. His mom smiled and kissed him on the forehead and walked out the door off to work

At least this is longer than the first chapter. First chapter is already done. I have four others written but I'm going to wait to post them. I still don't really feel sure about posting these for others to read, idky tho. Anyways pls give me some feed back and I can maybe try to reply to comments if you guys have any. And point out any mistakes that you catch.

Ps- I'm going to start doing a word count to see how much I actually write
