Amp Up the Love(pre-Lemon)

King's Row was a well-lit, bustling area with the people excited for the holiday season. Beanies and sweaters were dawned, children were on father's shoulders, gifts in most everybody's hands, and the feeling of comfort, love, and peace was in the air. For during these times, everybody forgot about the conflicts that plagued the world, making the world seem so heavenly. Even grumps like Reaper couldn't help but partake in the spirit of calm. 

Amongst this crowd of people was Lucio and Hana, sitting on a bench. They were admiring the people passing, smiling, and giggling. The two were bundled up in a fuzzy blanket, both wearing scarves, and embracing one another in their arms for it was cold in King's Row. This was their tradition and has been celebrated since the start of their relationship years ago. 

"Ah, all we need is hot cocoa and this night would be perfect!" Hana giggled. Lucio only turned to her, smiled and replied, "It's already perfect being here with you."

Hana smiled and kissed Lucio on the cheek. "Smooth moves, daddy-o," Hana smirked. Lucio gave a hearty laugh and kissed her back. 

After another hour of sitting and watching life go by, Hana and Lucio received an invitation from their friend Angela. The two were invited to a holiday party! Hana and Lucio turned to each other and asked simultaneously, "Should we go?" 

"It would be fun to see our friends around the holidays!" Hana suggested.

"Yeah, it would be fun. I haven't talked to Lena since the last tour! Let's go!" Lucio added. With that, the duo grabbed their belongings and made their way through the crowd to Angela's room at the Overwatch base. 

Angela greeted the two at the door and escorted them inside to the dining room where the members were playing Pictionary. There was a giant, wooden table with a whiteboard at the end of the room. Winston was by the whiteboard drawing and Lena was on the opposite side of the room where the other members were eagerly waiting for Lena to mess it up.

"Is it a.. cat?" Lena yelled. Winston impatiently shook his head no.

"Winston and Lena haven't lost a round during our tournament," Angela whispered to Lucio and Hana. The two giggled. 

"Come on, Lena! We have 20 seconds! Think about yourself!" Winston coached. 

Lena was deep in thought when she realized, "The blueprints to my Chronal Accelerator!" 

"Ding ding ding!" Winston exclaimed! Winston and Lena jumped up from their spots and congratulated each other and hugged one another. Lena then turned around and kissed Emily.

"Nice job love!" Emily encouraged. Lena only nuzzled her head onto her neck.

Lucio looked at the picture and it was, literally, the schematics to Lena's Chronal Accelerator and it made him wonder, "How could she have not known that these are schematics?"

"Lucio, Hana, wanna try Pictionary?" The two looked at each other and laughed. 

"No no no, we like watching you guys play.. besides, we just got here! Why not finish the tourney?" Hana suggested.

"Are you kids too chicken to play? Don't you want a medal?" Jack teased.

"You don't have to do what you don't want to do. Just look at Jack," Reaper joked, nudging Soldier's arm a little. 

Genji laughed, "The tourney is pretty much over, with Winston and Lena winning."

Hanzo added, "... as always.." 

The group laughed at Hanzo's statement. In fact, Winston almost toppled the table over he was laughing so hard!

"Hanzo. As sassy as ever!" McCree laughed, patting Hanzo on the back.

Angela laughed, "Alright alright, Hana and Lucio won't play.. for now.." Hana and Lucio only laughed with Angela, hoping that she doesn't mean that last part.

"Alright, how about a movie? I got Revenge of the Starkillers 5: Director's Cut!" Sombra exclaimed!

"Isn't that film still in theaters?" Lucio asked. Sombra looked at him and replied, "I have my ways," with a wink.

 The group all agreed to sit down and watch the film, but not before getting popcorn and other concessions. The living room had a couch that could fit everyone with a little bit of room to spare. But, Winston had to get another chair because he couldn't fit on the couch.

Lucio and Hana bundled up on the couch just like how they were on the bench. Hana laid her head on Lucio's shoulder and Lucio put his arm around her shoulder. 

The film was really cheesy with no reason of existence other than for money, but the group had a good laugh at making fun of it. 

It was about midnight when the party end and Angela booted everyone out of her room. Lucio and Hana were both in arms, head over heels laughing. The two were recounting funny comments made by the group all the way to Hana's room.

When they arrived, Lucio joked in a voice similar to a gentleman's, "Alright m'lady. You have been properly escorted to your residence!" 

Hana giggled and teased, "Won't you escort me all the way to my bed?" 

Lucio took a moment to think about what Hana was offering and smirked, "Let's get this party started."
