Bradley smirked down at the knife in his hand, the sharp blade. He'd definitely prefer to use his Peacekeeper, but, of course, that'd be too loud, and his target, along with everyone except maybe the D.Va, Kathleen, was asleep.

Growling to himself, the McCree pushed his ear up to the door. Not a sound, perfect. Smiling, Brad started to put his fingers into the handle, sliding the door open as it made a quiet click.

Inside was Bazza, laying in bed, his eyes closed and his body limp, but also a bit tense, as he slept. Then, he saw it. Saw him. A Widowmaker was outside the window, looking in. Their eyes, shining brown, flicked over to look at Brad, and they paused. Brad had completely paused as well, horrified.

The soldier didn't stir, not until the Widowmaker smashed his Widow's Kiss through the glass of the window. Bazza suddenly popped up, his eyes fogged over with sleep. The Widowmaker hopped quickly into the room, vaulting over the windowsill only to land on his feet, his rifle held over his shoulder, aiming the index and middle finger of his free hand at Brad like a pistol, and pulling his hand up quickly, as if he had pulled the trigger, then blew a kiss, "Shot Dead, Honey." He giggled.

Brad's eyes widened and he started to pull the knife back over his shoulder, pausing as he noticed the Widowmaker scoping in, right at his head. "I wouldn't move if I were you." The sniper whispered, and then a gasp came from Bazza, "Brad? ... Alyx?" "Alyx Lacroix?" Brad muttered, and the Widowmaker just smirked, "Bradley McCree, huh? The outlaw, and, of course, my love, Bazza Morrison."

"Your love?" Brad hissed in disgust. Starting to fling the knife forward, the Widowmaker pulled the trigger, but the bullet missed, as Bazza had woken up enough to push Alyx off balance at the last second.

The sirens, loud and clear, went off in the HQ, and Alyx grumbled as he stood, hopping to crouch in the windowsill, blowing a kiss to Bazza before grappling away into the bright moonlight. Quickly, the soldier started to turn to stare at Bradley, but before he could comprehend, something big happened.

The knife stabbed into the soldier's stomach, and he gasped as he felt it, the pain of Bradley twisting it in his skin. Closing his eyes, Bazza held back a cry of pain. "Why?" He whispered, his body now shaking. "Please, it's simply because... You were in the way." The McCree purred, yanking the knife out violently, letting the Soldier slowly fall down to the floor, bleeding out, very slowly.

Brad grabbed Bazza by the arms, holding his hand tightly against the soldier's mouth and nose, stopping the breathing almost immediately as he tossed him out of the window.

Alyx watched from a distance, his eyes narrowing as he saw the body fall to the floor. "My love, how could I let this happen." He whispered as he watched the blood knife drop out of the broken window, landing on top of the limp body.

Of course, things would now get interesting, as Alyx had joined the game, but the prize for him was not Elliott, in this case, his prize would be revenge. Revenge for Bazza Morrison.
