Soap Bubble Pops

Daniel Lewis Edderwin's pov

She isn't there anymore... who was that girl anyway? I released a sigh of dissapointment as the girl I saw before dissapears. Turning into one of the small particles of crystal clear memories I always gained for some reason.

My ash blonde hair glinted slightly under the street lights. Me and my gangs, actually two friends, walked in a fancy restaurant we visit once a week. To meet... I saw china-blue eyes to be a pale, clear blue, perhaps with a hint of gray. "Evan, my man!" Christopher cheery voice echoes around the restaurant.

All eyes were suddenly on us. I shifted uncomfortably as the eyes felt like the piercings of a thousand arrows around my body. "Christopher, now, can that girl, Neddea was it? Give me the...you know what I mean." Evan's gaze glares at Neddea. She nodded and handed him the crystal drug. He eyed it warily. I cleared my throat, although it turned to be a little squeak.

"It's a new product. They say it makes many see the wonders of life. Though, most of these peoples who tried it died shortly after seeing the 'wonders'." I sternly say and eyed Evan carefully. Making sure he didn't have any hidden guns. "Relax Daniel. I don't intend to harm you all...yet." he whispered the last part as his lips tugged slightly.

What a liar... I glared at him and made a disgusted face. He only gave me a low chuckle and slide his fingers over his golden blonde hair. Is it me, or is everyone I have any connections with are just different shades of blondes? A hand tugged my arms gently. "We should be going now, I don't know what he's going to do with the drugs but I want to go home now..."

Her mumbles made me nod. I too, felt sleepy. And I wouldn't want to worry myself with Evan. I'm sure his making money with those drugs right after he went out this restaurant. "Come on, Daniel." Christopher says and walked in front of Naddea and I. "Rude asshole." Naddea sighed out. I giggled at these two's antics.

Typical friends. "You both should marry eachother already. I'm totally rooting for it. Heck, i'd pay you're suites and gowns!" I laughed. Both of them groaned and Chrisropher punched me playfully. "Like hell we would!" He cherfully says and walked beside Naddea.

As soon as he reached beside her they argue like cats and dogs. I stood behind them, a content sigh escaped my lips. Then, I saw the same gray hair from before. I blinked and looked around. In the dark alley beside me I saw bright purple eyes looking straight into my soul.

I gasped, surprised. I wanted to usher my friends to see but was quickly muffled by a small pale hands.  "Shh!" She cooed quitely and looked around. I was slightly confused. But as the wimp I am, I really couldn't be a fighter. I looked at her, terrified. The pale hands still plastered to shut my mouth, I was triggered.

I remembered the same light brown hand covering my mouth the same way. I shivered. I submissively froze in place and shut my mouth as beads of sweat dripped down from my forehead. "Are you...scared of me?" Her hot breath tickled my neck. But I didn't really do any gestures to say if I am or if I wasn't.

Because, I don't know what the right answer will be. Clear tears of distress started to appear on in the corners of my eyes. I crouched a little to be at the same level as her. Her hand suddenly went away from my mouth as she waved her hands around, looking panicked.

She then looked like she found a solution. I let out a quiet sob, she would most definetly hear it. Her purple eyes showed a swirl of concern, guilt and pity. She tgen quickly hugged me in a protective embrace and twirled her hands to make random shapes around my back. Actually soothing me. She then whispers sweet nothings near my ear as we were at the same height.

I did crouch down. My sobs turned to sniffles. I looked at her, my eyes still filled with crystal like tears. The moon shined between the small cracks above the alley and the street lights flickered slightly. The muffled calls of my name from afar. The beautiful shine of her eyes which turned violet at the right light.

And her soft pink lips, slightly parted. Her breaths mixed itself around mine. "Are you alright now? I'm so very sorry. I didn't know you were easily triggered. I apologize! Again i'm so very sor-" I waved my arms around defensively. "Oh no! It's okay! I just thought you were a bad person, that's all..." I softly say to not surprise her to much.

She let out a sigh of relief and nodded her head. She then looked at me seriously. "I was wondering if you know where to find shelter..." she mutters loud enough for me to hear. I awkwardly rubbed my necks. "Uh...there is'nt really any around this part of town. Sorry." I apologized.

She looked suddenly dissapointed and walked away grogily. Perhaps to find anyone who can give her shelter. An idea suddenly clicked itself into my mind. "Uh...you could stay at my place. If you don't mind?" I asked. She quickly turned her head towards me. I cringed as a soft crack could be heard. That must've hurt...

She spouted a few ouches and walked back towards me in the alley. "I can?" She asks. Hope evident in her eyes. "Sure!" I exclaimed. I was actually having doubts about this decision. But can't take it back now. She skipped around happily and pushed me out of the alley. "What are you waiting for!? I want to see my shelter!" I chuckled.

Weird accent she have. I walked forward letting her stumble around. She puouted but giggled at the end. I was still uncomfortabke and wary of her movements. But her warm aura had me in. She was a really talkative girl. She talked until I found Naddea and Christopher.

"Hey guys..." I said loud enough for them. They looked at me like they've seen a ghost. "Oh god, Daniel. You're alright..." Naddea sighed as she place a fist to her chest. Heaving as she looked at me with a happy smile. "Yeah, and who is she?"
