As I walk to the school, people stare at me sending me stares of hatred. When I walk past some of the girls, they send me looks of disgust and move away from me like I'm crazy.

Everyone else use to do this to me at my other school. I seriously don't understand this. I'm not the one to start drama or the one to talk about people and make rumors about anyone. I'm just the girl everyone hates for no apparent reason.

If my older sister Sarah was still alive this probably would have never happened, but they do say things happen for a reason.

As I walk to find my locker, somone pushes me.

"Excuse me. Um...where do you think your going pushing people around like that in those old granny panties!"

"Well,  um... first of all is that all you got? Comebacks from what the 2000's? Hello its 2014! And second of all you ran into me looking for trouble."

She slaps the books out of my hands and pushes me around the corner into someone. All of my papers, books, and folders come flying everywhere. Great, now I have to deal with Little Ms. Know-it-all!

Ouch, my head hurts and everything is spinning. As I get back to normal, someone ask me am I ok and I just look at them with strangest face still on the ground. This guy I think is a boy starts to help me pick up my things.

I try my best not to look at him, but he squats next to me and makes sure I'm ok. He hands me some folders and papers as I stand up and get my backpack off  the ground.

I walk back over to my locker trying my best not to show any emotions. The boy walks over to me and says:

"Hey,  that Stephanie girl can be such a you know what sometimes. I'm Joseph,  but you can call me Joey."

and he offers his hand for me to shake it. I just ignore him and turn my back to him, trying my best not to cry.

He walks in front of me and sees the tears forming in my eyes.

"Hey hey, don't cry its going to okay. Don't worry you'll be okay. What's wrong just tell me and I'll help."

" I just thought.....I never mind."

"No no just tell me."

"I just thought that.. I could go to a school..not have anything to worry about...have some friends..but I guess it just isn't going to be like that."

"It's ok we can just say your having the first day worst day."

"yeah...*chuckle* I guess so."

"Well you can hang out with me today since your new here."

"Thank you but no thank you. I kinda rather be by myself....alone as usual."

"No I insist."

"No thanks I'm used to being alone. espically being alone for 12 years and no one really to talk to."

"I don't care I just don't want you to get hurt by Stephanie again." he says as he hangs his arms around my shoulders and guides me to his group of buddies.

As we get over there, his buddies start whispering things to each other and I just put my head down in shame.

One of the biggest guys slightly shifts over to Joey and asks harshly:

"Why are you over here with this girl?  She's new here and she can't be with the popular unless you want to lose your fame at this school."

At this, I storm off walking back to my locker to get my bag and off to the bathroom. Joey catches my arm and pulls me back.

"Don't listen to any of them. Just ignore everything everyone says please."

"How come..your being so nice to me?"

" Well um...I um...I don't know." he says as he fumbles with his fingers.

I look straight up at him and look dead into his crystal blue eyes. I look at his whole face and every structure of him is perfect. He's gorgeous and has the nices smile I've ever seen.

I look back down at the ground seeing that he has no response.

"Hey, I still haven't gotten your name."

" It's Alyssa." I say somewhat sobbing.

"Hey hey hey! shhhhh, stop crying please." he says as he wipes away my tears.

"How come your crying?"

"It's that....I finally feel like I have a friend for once and i'm not the one being bullied or left out all the time."

He hugs me and finally for the first time in my life I felt safe and loved. Everyone around us are staring especially all the girls including Stephanie.
