This story's prompt is " Create a hero. Tell a part of there journey but only one. This can be the middle, beginning, end or any of there trials they go through." I chose the beginning. And it starts off really weird but I thought it got better as you read.
A long time ago there was a girl named Paisley. She lived with her God parents in a small town. They were having dinner one night and Paisley all of a sudden fainted. When she woke up she was in her bedroom. Everything at that moment would change for Paisley. The seventeen year old girl sat up next to her mom. Paisley noticed a soft light yellow glow around her. Paisley shook her head sure that this was just a side effect of her being unconscious. She asked her mom for a drink of water. As her mom walked out of the room she saw that the glow left a streak behind as if it was  following her. Paisley tried to stand up but only fell to the ground. She had been out for two weeks. When her mom came back into the room she dropped the glass of water and ran to the phone to call the doctor.

The next time she woke up she saw five people in her room. Her parents, two doctors, and a kid who looked about as old as Paisley was. They each had a different glow. Paisley decided it was best not to freak the doctors out by telling them she could see colors radiating around them. She asked who the boy was and her parents just nodded. At this time the boy stood up and requested for everyone to leave the room. They all looked concerned and a little confused but did as he told. When Paisley and the boy were alone he started asking her questions.

"You've been seeing things haven't you? It's pretty normal at you're age considering who you are. Let me guess. You are seeing what you would call i guess a 'glow' around people?" He said using air quotes around the word glow.

"Who are you? What do you mean this is normal? Can you see it too?" paisley asked quickly.

"No i can't see it but i know that you can. You aren't the first person to experience something like this. I'm what they would consider a specialist on this kind of thing." he said seeming proud of himself.

"How can you be a specialist and be my age? What is happening to me?" She asked.

"Nothing bad is happening. In fact this is nothing new. You've had this ability to see what we call Auras your whole life.  You just never saw them. I can help you though." The nameless boy responded.

"I don't even know your name and Im supposed to let you help me? Help me what? It's like you said yourself nothing bad is happening so I don't see why i need help." Paisley said in a smart tone.

"My name is Nico. I can help with controlling it. Your power could end up killing you if you don't learn how to use it properly. Going off of the look on your face you are starting to see things more brightly. More colorful if you want to put it that way. Basically if you can't learn how to not let people know you have this power you will be killed. Normals don't like people like us. We scare them. They don't understand so instead of trying to understand they just kill. That's why your real parents sent you away. Who you've been living with for seventeen years isn't your family. Your real parents are in a town called Bluebell. It will only take us a few days to get there but we would have to leave today.  " Nico said averting his eyes away from Paisley's glare.

"So what you're telling me is that I am going to be killed because i have something that others don't and because of that i have been in hiding this whole time? These aren't my real parents?" Paisley questioned feeling so betrayed.

"We have to go. now."

Obviously I never finished this one. It isn't my favorite writing piece I've done but it's also not my least favorite.  Before anyone tries to bash me on the way I put everything in the middle or eventually to one side. Also I leave some I's uncapitalized. I do it for a reason.
