namjoon was dressed, advil-ed and hydrated.

he was ready to go, he walked out of his small apartment, making sure to lock his door and slide the key in his jean pocket that didn't have a hole.

when he first received the text from jimin he had been confused, he was so hammered last night that he almost forgot the beautiful stranger he met the night before. when he did, eventually, remember, he started to become very aware of how they had flirted and what he would be wearing to their small meet up.

jimin had also included the café's address, namjoon typed it into google maps and followed the small blue dot, as he past the streets he realised a few of the shops. one in particular.
it was a small tattoo shop on the second floor of a building, he had went there once on a drunken night woth his friend, where he had refused to get a matching tattoo. the thought made namjoon shiver. he hated needles.

when he finally arrived, he was greeted with light colours and a soft atmosphere, it contrasted greatly against the gray seoul sky. as he walked in a little ding sounded throughout the café, making it clear that someone had just walked in, namjoon looked around and locked eyes with the blonde.
and honestly, only three words were going through namjoons mind.

holy fucking shit

jimin was beautiful, not handsome, or hot, he was gorgeous there was something ethereal about him that namjoon couldn't notice in the dim lighting and his fuzzy head from last night. he found himself walking closer to the counter where jimin was, he was greeted with an eye smile from the latter.

"hey"

"uh hi"

he was met with a warm smile, one that let ignited something in the pit of his stomach. "so do you want anything or, you still too hungover" jimin joked. namjoon chuckled a little, suddenly getting nervous in front of jimin.

"afterall i did promise you a coffee" namjoon sat and watch jimin swirl a heart into the foam and bring it over to a booth where they both sat. as namjoon sipped at his coffee jimin was telling him about his boss, and just random things in general.

at this point he had kind of zoned out, he wasn't really listening, he looked at the way jimins eyes crinkled when he smiled or when he was complaining about his boss he would smack the table in an overdramatise way. namjoon just sat there smiling.

"ohmygod!" jimin squealed bringing namjoon back to reality, "have you ever been to Wu's? it's such a cute chinese restaurant, i know the woman that owns it! we should go!" jimin smiled brightly, placing his hand over namjoons.

ohmygod. is this a date? his hand. oh my gOD! what if it's a date? his hand is touching me. OHMYGOD. i hope it's a date. fuck say something namjoon.

"uh yeah it's a date" namjoon said inwardly hating himself, but smiling awkwardly through the pain.

-X-

"my god jin, hes so cute i swear to god!" namjoon beamed "and he asked me out on a date, ohmygod i'm in love hes so cute!" seokjin rolled his eyes. it has been half an hour since namjoon had called him and rushed over to his apartment, now namjoon was droning on and on about this jimin guy.

"yeah you've said that twice now joon" jin stood up walking to his kitchen to get a glass of water.

"i know! but seriously he's the cutest you should see him!" namjoon smiled looking down at his hands, he could only picture how breathtaking jimin would look on their date.

seokjin walked back into the room collapsing on the couch,

"if i didn't know you any better i would say you, kim namjoon, have a crush"
