(Dak's POV)
As we drove Lucille wouldnt so much as look at me let alone talk to me...I thought to myself "Girl Hurry up and cool down...I apologized." But the ride carried on in silence. Max finally broke the silence when he screamed Look out! I slammed on the brakes and saw what he was yelling about there was a creature gnawing at a human being. I made a disgusted sigh as I started opening my door to go kill the monster, "hey ugly!" I yelled getting the cretures attention "Get the fuck outta my way you disgusting creature." I said as I pulled out my gun and aimed for its head, releasing a bullet and part of its brain. "Now that I've completed that task." I walked to both corpses grabbing each in one hand and Dragged them off the road, my hands were covered in blood so I used the clean part of the human corpses shirt to clean it off. "Ugh why must these beasts be so messy." I returned to the car and began driving again and the silence continued. Evantually Lucille piped up saying "We are low on food we need to hit the next store we find." I laughed and said "So, she finally speaks." She glared at me and said "yeah because im actually concerned with our food situation, not everyone has training to not eat for weeks at a time if kidnapped." I frowned at such a stereotypical comment about assassins but shrugged it off and said "Look sis, I couldnt tell you or they would've killed you." Lucy looked at me with fire in her eyes and a tone of anger within her voice she said "I can protect myself, I don't need protection." I was angry now and harshly said "Lucille you could never protect yourself from trained killers! Gun in hand or not they wouldve easily killed you and wouldn't even break a fucking sweat!" After my outburst the rest of the trip was silent and the tension in the air was so thick you could cut it with a knife.
Nearly a day had passed and we still hadnt stumbled across any type of store so I broke the silence by asking "Max could you check the map for the nearest store?" He replied with "of course love." He quickly frowned when he realized what he said. Lucille didnt seem to notice and I gave him a smile of reassurance. "In about 2 miles we need to turn on this road here." I looked and nodded for I had memorized the road already. We continued down the road but now everyone was talking and the tension seemed to dissipate.
