The music in the night club was pounding so loud that it shook the room. There were sweaty people everywhere getting drunk, dancing, and making out. Through all of the girls here, I only had eyes for one.
She sat in the back of the club with a few other girls, all just chatting about who knows what , while drinking some coke. I guess they're not old enough to drink.
She was wearing a tight purple dress that came down just above her knees, with some black heels that looked incredibly painful to walk in. Her hair was a dark brown, perfectly curled and in place. She was skinny, but not a toothpick, and she barely wore any makeup. I will admit, she was beautiful with her natural look. I caught that her name was Sophia Carter from some guys around me, who were also admiring her beauty.
I noticed her walk in a few minutes after I arrived.
I'd never met her before, as people like me do not associate with the higher class people around here.
My name is Justin Bieber. I'm a local gang leader here in New York City. Most people see me as a threat and they don't readily associate with me.
Normally, I would go for any girl who wanted to throw themselves at me, just for some fun for a night. But this girl, she seemed so... different.
I'd never felt anything like this for anyone before, but I think I liked her.
It'd be impossible for me to date her though. She would never talk to me, let alone like me if she knew who I really was.
But I had to talk to her, somehow. I needed to get to know her.
So I decided that I'd ditch my friends for a little while to go over there and talk to her.
I couldn't let her find out about my background, so I had to leave my friends by the bar.
"Hey guys, " I spoke, "I'll be right back. I'm going to go talk to someone."
Then I turned in her direction and started to walk towards the table where her and her friends were sitting.
As I walked, I heard a couple incoherent remarks from my friends.
"Get some, Bieber."
"Ooh, Bieber's got a crush."
I turned around and shot them a glare before returning to the task at hand.
As I neared the table, it felt like my steps were taking longer and longer.
Was I really this nervous to talk to a girl?
I'm Justin Bieber. A Player. I don't care about girls' feelings. I just like to have a good time. So why did this one mean so much?
I finally reached their table, to hear them talking about their upcoming prom at Bayside High School.
I used to go there before I dropped out 3 years ago.
"Yeah, I don't know if Brad is going to ask me to go with him. Prom is in a week, and he hasn't even dropped any hints yet. Its really nerve wracking to be honest. " I heard one of her friend's say.
The Sophia spoke up, "Don't worry Isabelle, he will. That boy loves you so much, I can tell. And I know he won't pass up and opportunity to have you on his arm at such an event. You're gonna look gorgeous, and he is going to look handsome and you're going to take the best selfies. Ok? Don't stress about it."
Her voice sounded angelic. And I was going to move in to talk to her, when I heard her friend speak up again.
"Thats easy for you to say, Sophia. You're perfect. You're beautiful. And you have the perfect boyfriend who loves you to the moon and back. You guys are seriously meant to be together. "
Sophia blushed.
I don't know if what I am feeling is jealousy or betrayal. But how could it be betrayal if I'd never even met the girl before? I don't know. All I know is that I've never felt anything like it before. And its horrible.
" You really think we're meant to be?" She asked.
Her friends chuckled.
"Are you seriously asking that right now Sophia? You're both head over heels for each other. And he took you to Central Park to ask you to prom with your name written in Fireworks. You're inseparable. Like honestly, I don't even know how we got you to come to this club without him, but anyway the point is. You two were meant to be together, and live happily ever after, like in the Disney movies we used to watch as kids. You always said that you wanted to find your Prince Charming, and you finally did. Sean is your soulmate , Sophia. Just accept it. "
Sophia looked up, and I think she saw me listening to them, because she gestured to her friends, who then turned around to look at me.
I hurried away, not wanted to be asked why I was listening, and I gathered up my friends, and we all walked out to my car.
I can't believe she has a boyfriend. I thought for sure that I would be able to at least get to know her, but I don't think I could control myself, knowing that she loves someone else.
I guess I am just going to have to let it go.
