As a child, Cywren grew up with a male voice calling himself "Venturian." He constantly addresses people called Fans on the Internet. She figured her dad placed a chip in her head as a prank but it never added up.
"Cywren," he said. "Are you ready for an adventure?"
When he said this as she left Vault 101, she wondered if he knew her fate. She brushed it aside, knowing that everything he did for her was for her own good.
She occasionally saw a strange figure watching from the shadows near a 1950's police box. She never got the chance to see it because Venturian kept guiding her from the shadows, saying that shadows are never friendly.
One day, she asked him a few questions that sent him to near silence. They finally collected enough experience to defuse the nuke in Megaton and she began to work on it when she shot the questions.
"Venturian, have you gone on any adventures before me?"
"Actually, I have. I travelled with a warrior in a land known as Skyrim. I guided her the same way I do you."
"Who was this warrior?"
"It was a Dark Elf known as Vahl. She made many friends and became queen in under two years."
"Do you know anything about a 1950's police box?"
A heartbeat of silence nearly made her slip up the operation.
"How do you know about the TARDIS?"
"Don't you see it? It appears when we enter every city, accompanied by a silhouette. What is the TARDIS?"
"Vahl, how did you do it," Cywren heard him whisper. "The TARDIS is a time machine that takes you anywhere in space and time. I got one for my previous adventurer but its not supposed to be able to travel in time."
"But you said-"
"I never made the TARDIS. It was a DLC for her. It wasn't made to travel in time because it would most likely rip the- uh- world she lived in."
"So you're saying that she, somehow, messed with the scripting of the TARDIS' functions to travel in time and find us here?" Silence. Quazar let out a nervous growl toward the nuke. Cywren finished defusing the bomb and closed it up. "Venturian?"
"Cywren, please wait a moment. I need to check something." She felt his presence disappear and a silhouette stepped out from behind the nuke.
