She quickly walked up the stairs, fear hovering over her mind. She didn't know what would happen.
Luckily, Devin was sleeping and he didn't bother her. She ran into her room and pulled out a small box, hidden under her bed. It was razors. She pulled her favorite one and started listening to "Disasterology".
"Oh what a waste of a perfectly, good clean, wrist." The lyrics rung out in her mind. Music was her escape, when she was finished she went to the bathroom and started cleaning her cuts.
She went to bed and waited for the next day of hell (aka school.) She lay awake thinking of all the things that she could do wrong. She was scared. She cried herself to sleep almost every night because of him and her life.
The next morning she woke up, showered, and left for school. It was a cooler day, but much too hot to be wearing pants and a hoodie. She had to conceal herself from the world, she hated her body and her scars were visible.
When she arrived at school she got her things from her locker and went to class. He was there. She couldn't focus on anything because of him, and he knew what he was doing. She needed help, she was too attached to him. He told her that she was enough and that she was amazing and beautiful, then told her that she was horrible, annoying, and ugly. Those words were the only things that went through her mind.
