"Klare..." The boy called.
"Justin!" The girl rushed towards the lad toward the hospital bed.
"What happend to you?!" Klare asked and a small smile creep toward the boy's face.
"I tried to save a kid from a moving vehicle.... But after I pushed the child... I... was too late to save myself and was hit. All I needed was a surgery." He replied.
"Jus--" she was caught off guard and was pulled for a hug.
"I'll be okay Klare" he smiled. "This can't kill me yet... And to think it's was our anniverasary today. Don't be sad... How about we talk about how we met?" Justin ask.
"Sure" she smiled. "To think you were the first one to fall in love between us and tried everything for me how about you tell the story then?" She added.
"Okay, okay woman" he laughed.
" It all started with a project in highschool both of us are together in one group. To be honest I didn't notice you that time until I got to know you and cried in front of us your groupmates. I really thought you were strong but I realised even the strongest people cry to express that they're in pain. That moment I started having a mere crush on you and both of us started hanging out as frends to bestfriends." Justin narrates.
"Are you sure?" Klare just laughed. "We known each other before the project dummy." She explained. " We first get to know each other through chat. I asked you what's our assignment on our math class because I wasn't paying attention to that hellish class." Klare added.
"Hahaha... that's because you're always asleep." He replied.
"Hmmp... Just continue with our love story Jus." She pouted.
"Hahaha... where was I? Oh yea... December was just around the corner and that time I was thinking of buying you a gift. Remember the book I gave you? The Fault in Our Stars, I always knew you have a thing for books eversince you fangirl inside a bookstore everytime we came across one when we walk together from school." He pause.
"That Book.... It was one of my favorite actually hahaha.. I was thinking of buying that after our Christmas party but you gave it before the event so I spend nothing on that Christmas because my favorite book was given to me." Klare smiled at that memory.
"Then January came you were always cold towards me even on chats and all I get was short messages. We Didn't walk together like we used to from school. I was kind of hurt because that time i'm having a feeling that I'm already in love with you but I think this feelings don't even mattered if you had known about that." he smiled bitterly.
"That time I was confused. I'm confused of what I feel... Like everytime we touch I get this feeling, When I see you I get butterflies in my stomach, Everytime we talk I get so happy that I think im gonna die of happiness." She smiled. "But I choose to leave and run away from you. I was scared that this feelings could break our friendship." She added.
"But because of that friendship look us now, love. We're together now and loving each other." He smiled at her and gave her a hug.
"Ahem.. I'll continue March came rapidly
and It was the last week of school. We had an event that time but our friends forced us together to get a picture with each other. I wasn't expecting for you to agree but half of me did. I was shocked and the same time contented. That you my Bestfriend at the same time the girl im inlove with agreed to take a picture even she treated me with a cold shoulder. You were cute in that picture hahaha... I even wallpapered it after receiving the picture on my phone." He said.
"I wasn't going to agree but our friends blockmailed me to burn my fictional books and that they would tell you that im having feelings for you." She pouted.
"So I should better thank them then." He smiled.
" 5 months after our friends have separated. It was even near to your birthday. It broke us all. I know it sounds gay but when both of us dicussing about it im tearing myself up. Thinking I would sacrifice my love for you just to keep all of you as my group of friends. But I know in my heart that all of us are already hurting and need to let go." Justin was about to cry but Klare comfort him.
"It's all in the past now Jus. We're now okay." She smiles brightly toward him.
"Yea... I think everyone of us had already moved on.." he smiled weakly.
"Graduation came it was the last day of us meeting each other for college. We're still together for a year but we still broke up because of the distance. Florida is so far from Canada but we're together now and staying strong." Justin just smiled.
"And then what happend mister?" A child asked from the other bed And the two stared the little boy.
"You were listening and watching us the whole time, Little kid?" Justin blushed.
"Yes mister! also the nurses and other patients!" The child smiled beamingly.
The two were already red because of what they heard from the child and looked to their surroundings.
"Oh... we gather some listeners to our story hehehe..." Klare whispered to Justin shyly.
"I think so hahaha.." Justin replied.
"And then what happend mister??" The child asked.
"Then we didn't ended up each other." Klare stated.
"Why??? You two look perfect for each other." One of the nurses asked.
"Honey! Is he okay?" The approching male asked that made everyone look.
"Oh honey! Yes, he's okay. It's good because he just have a minor injury. Klare kissed the man.
"Maybe we're not made for each other." Justin looked at Klare's direction. "Besides she's getting married soon." Justin answered.
"How are you, Jus?" The man asked.
"Im Fine, Ron" Justin answered.
"Mister Mondelijar? It's time for the surgery" A doctor called.
" I think it's time to go. Klare?" Ron called.
"I think we should. Bye Jus we will be back here. She smiled.
"Sure. Klare Goodbye. Justin smiled widely.
"The two left justin and the doctor and the doctor explained the things he needed to know."
"You know, you two look perfect for each other" the doctor said.
"That's what they all say" Justin Laughed.
"Do you still want to continue the surgery?" The doctor asked.
"Yes. How much chance do I have to live?" He askd.
"About 30%. You do know this is a risky surgery. Your heart might stopped in the middle of the sugery. The heart surgery is the most dangerous to do, you know that right? The doctor asked further.
"I know, atleast I risked the 30% than I didn't do anything. Justin stated.
"Okay will switch you to the O.R" the doctor stated.
*Operating Room*
"If you don't succeed in this operation do you have anything to say?" The doctor asked for the last time.
"Can you tell that girl I was with a while ago that I'm sorry for everything. Im sorry that I couldn't be by her side anymore. Im sorry because I let her go. Im sorry that I didn't told her about my heart problems. Also tell her that I'm thankful that she was there when I needed her the most. That I was thankful because I got to know and fall in love with her. Tell her even we broke up. I Still Love Her." Justin said while lossing conciousness.
"I could pass it unto her." The doctor said.
"Scapel."
