Bruce wraps up the gala and starts to lead the remaining guest out of the room. The chatter soon dies down from the leaving guest. As they Gossip about the little scene that was played in front of them. and finally the place is quiet not one peep is heard
Ace pov
I start to process of what my mom said.
What does she mean by he'll never hurt us again?.
did she..... I lightly shake my head clearing out the thought and asked her
A: "Why do you say that mom" I say curiously
Mom separates from the hug and looks at Bruce with shock written all over her face
H:"after all of these months she was with ya you never told her"
A:" Tell me what" I say looking at both of them now interested in the conversation
mom opens her mouth ready to tell me. But Bruce gives her a terrifying glare and she quickly closes her mouth.
B:" I think it's best that you don't know Ace" he calmly says trying to avoid the subject
'What! he thinks it's best that I don't know!? my butt he's going to have to tell me one way or another'
A: "just tell me I can handle it" I say also calm and collected trying to hide my anger, eagerness to know
But Bruce only shakes his head In disagreement and walks upstairs to his room.
'wow that was a perfect fail'
I look at mom hopeing that she would tell me but she just looks down also In disagreement
A: "UGH!!"

Ace storms upstairs to her room
And slams the door with a big slam echoing throughout the ball room.
all of the batboys look at Harley but she still looks down at the ground worried that if she told her daughter it will affect her safety.
