Jimin walked into class and sat amongst his friends. There were six of them. Jin was the oldest; then it went Namjoon, Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook.

"Okay class, we have a new student today. He is running late due to a scheduling issue. When he arrives, I'd like for all of you to greet him respectfully." All the students nodded at Mr. Chung and went back to their conversations.

"Do you think he'll be cute?" Taehyung asked Jimin excitedly, earning a slap on the back of the head by his boyfriend, Jungkook. Oh yeah, five out of the six boys were gay. Hoseok was bi and is currently dating Rose, from the school's popular girl group.

"Aish, you idiot. I'm asking in favor of Jimin! You know I love you~" Tae cooed at his boyfriend, causing the boys around him to tease the blushing couple.

"Hey Jimin, can you come up here for a moment?" The teacher called the boy, and he walked up to the front. "The office has informed me that you have the same schedule as our new student, so I was wondering if you wouldn't mind being his guide for the next few days?" Although Jimin was a bit antisocial, he agreed and returned to his seat. The classroom door opened right as he sat down and Jimin stared in awe at the male who walked in.

"Ah, did everything work out?" Mr. Chung asked the student who casually walked up to his podium. The boy nodded and turned to face the class. He made eye contact with Park Jimin and froze in his spot for a second.

"Would you mind introducing yourself to the class?" Mr. Chung motioned to the student, and he nodded.

"My name is Min Yoongi. I recently transferred to Seoul from Daegu with my mom. I hope you treat me well." This statement put Jimin at ease, for the Yoongi he knew lived with his aunt since his mom had passed when they were younger.

"Class, I hope you all welcome him nicely. Yoongi, you can take a seat behind Jimin over there." Mr. Chung pointed over to the raven-haired boy who looked as if he had just seen a ghost. Yoongi nodded and walked over to his seat. There were still 30 minutes left for homeroom, and none of the boys had work to do so they all just chatted and messed with each other. Jimin was still in space when a note landed on his desk. He flinched a bit and opened it.

Where is your locker? I have to stop in the office after class and don't want to get lost. My locker is 35C.

Jimin's breath hitched. His handwriting was beautiful compared to Jimin's, whose writing looked like that of a toddler. He scribbled back;

Oh, mine is 34C, so you can't miss it.

He passed it back and tapped Hoseok on the shoulder. The boy turned around and looked at the boy.

"Yah! I had a great song idea, and you just made me forget." The older whined and pouted. Jimin rolled his eyes and whispered,

"Remember the kid I used to talk about when we were younger? The one who I practically grew up with? I think that's him, Hobie." He watched Hoseok stop and think for a moment before he laughed.

"You're just delusional because you think he's all too handsome~" they both laughed as Jimin agreed, yet still unable to suppress the uneasy feeling in the pit of his stomach. The bell rang, and Jimin went to his locker. He exchanged his things for his next class and waited for the new kid. Yoongi ran up to him and bowed.

"My apologies. I didn't mean to take that long." Jimin just shrugged and cracked a smile as he explained where their next few classes are.

Jimin and Yoongi walked to the cafeteria, and he led the new kid to his table of friends.

"Yoongi, this is Jin and Namjoon, Taehyung and Jungkook, Hoseok and Rosé, Jennie and Lisa, and then Jisoo is currently home, sick." Yoongi nodded, trying to process all the names.

"Question, are you homophobic?" Leave it to Taehyung to ask the question, but Yoongi just laughed a bit.

"Not in the least, I, myself, am gay. I have been since I was little." Yoongi gulped after he said the last part. Part of him has a gut feeling that the Park Jimin standing next to him is the same Park Jimin he grew up with before he moved.

"Good, because the groups in which I named them off, are the couples of the group. Jisoo and I are the only single ones here, but I'm gay, and she is straight." Jimin chuckled, and Yoongi bit his lip a bit.

"Can you show me where the music room is after lunch?" Yoongi asked Jimin, and he nodded.

"So. Where did you move to in Seoul?" Namjoon asked the blonde boy who was picking at his food. He looked up and glanced at Jimin, who was engrossed in something on his phone and spoke just above a whisper.

"I moved into a house on Woodland Ave. My mom and I have been looking at the house for a couple of months now." Yoongi's heart ached as he mentioned his mom. He didn't want them questioning why he lived with his aunt. Namjoon just nodded and went back to eating.

The two boys tossed out their lunch, and Jimin led the way to the music room. As Yoongi followed, he was trying to come up with ways to figure out if this was his childhood best friend or not because quite frankly, it was driving him insane. Jimin stopped abruptly and motioned to a room at the end of the hall.

"That there is the music room. This one is exclusively just for music majors. I'd assumed you are one since you asked where it was, but if not I can take you in. I'm a music major myself." Jimin beamed a bit, causing Yoongi to get lost in his thoughts. He snapped out of it when Jimin nudged him gently, pushing him into the music room.

In the middle stood a beautiful piano. Yoongi smiled a bit. It reminded him of when he was 10, and he played a song for Jimin on his birthday. He had begged his Aunt to put him through the lessons so that he could surprise Jimin.

"Do you play?" Jimin asked in a gentle whisper. Yoongi nodded and sat down in front of the keys. "Play something then. I wanna see who my competition is." Yoongi had the best idea. He took a deep breath and began playing a beautiful melody.

Jimin was at a loss of words. Not because his competition was that good, but because of the very song that was being echoed throughout the room.

"That song... how do yo-" Yoongi smiled a bit and continued to play.

"I wrote it at 4 o'clock in the morning because you had been upset with me the previous day and I couldn't sleep knowing I hurt you.." Yoongi whispered softly, yet loud enough for Jimin to hear. Jimin's eyes began to water as he just stared at the boy playing the song from his childhood- no, from their childhood.

"You left me..." Jimin mumbled softly.

I've been planning on starting this book for almost two years now. An old friend had given me the idea while in school, and now I'm here, writing it a year and a half later. Also, I know Yoongi didn't write 4 o'clock, but for the sake of this story and the boys not being famous, he did.
