My mom came in my room, she walks slowly, and I could see her sad face, but she still smiles at me .
Mom: Hey dear... How's it? Are you ok now? *smiles*
Me: Yeah mom.... I'm fine..
We just sit there, staying in a really silent moment. I could see that mom is trying to hide about what doctor said about me..
Me: Mom.. Is there something you would like to tell me?
Her eyes wide opened and she smiles widely
Mom: Oh no!! I am not , not at all! Aha .
Me: Mom , you don't need to hide it, I heard everything..
Mom: *gasp*
Mom was shocked , she doesn't want me to know about it, but I already knew.
Mom: Dear... I... I.. I'm so sorry...... *sobs*
My mom cried , her tears can't stop flowing..... I tried to look like I'm fine about it, but I can't, I started to cry too. We cried together, mom hugs me.
Mom: I'm so sorry I didn't take care of you.. It's my fault.
Me: *sobs* No mom, it's not your fault. This is fate.. I deserve this.
I wiped my mom's tears . I told her to go back to the hotel and rest. She doesn't want to leave me here in the hospital but I told her to leave me alone , just for today. She said "fine", she understands that I need some time to be alone.
I took out my diary that I've been kept for so long. I wrote about many things, the important ones.
I wrote :
"Dear diary, I just found out I had Polio. And I still have 2 more weeks to live. What should I do? Well, I can't do anything about it. I guess, this is called FATE. I deserve it. One day, I'll go to another world and see father. Father, I miss you, wait for me ok? I'm coming soon.. "
After I wrote , I went to bed. I listened to music while I close my eyes. I listen to "Innocence" by Avril Lavigne. Hearing this song made me cry. Finally I sleep..
