Chapter Two_DJ Part 1
Gwen's POV
"Get up or else I won't be able to take you job shopping before I have to go to work!" Ashley throws a pillow at me.
"Ughhh!" I grab the pillow and throw it back, hitting her with enough force to knock her back into the wall.
"Fine." She leaves and I lay back down.
Just when I'm about to fall asleep, cold water is dumped on my face and I hear my door slam shut, locking me in.
I pound on the door. "Let me out! I'm gonna kill you!" I punch the door, leaving dents.
"Geez chill out!" I hear Ruby call. "You break that door, you won't have one! And then we can see you changing." She chuckles.
I stop. "I will get you back...." I threaten Ashley.
"Whatever. Go get dressed." Ashley says.
I sigh and go pick out some black ripped skinny jeans, a white tank top and my black leather jacket. I put my hair in a braid down my back and put on my black combat boots. I look myself over and decide to go with a thin strip of eye liner and a few swipes of mascara. When I feel decent I grab my phone off the charger and my headphones. I try the door knob and its open. I grab my bed sheets and blanket and when I see Ashley I throw them at her. "Here Ashley."
"Ugh Ash please, and you look hot girl!" She smiles and leaves.
I put on my headphones and start playing music. The Ballad of Mona Lisa by Panic! At The Disco. I love P!ATD. I go into the living room and sit on the couch.
About ten minutes later Ruby walks in. She is wearing black skinny jeans, a white long-sleeve button up shirt and the sleeves are rolled up, black Vans, and no makeup.
I take off my headphones and pause my music. "Hi."
"Hello. And question?" She sits down next to me.
"Yeah?"
"Do you really get that worked up when another girl gets you wet?" She smirks.
"N-no. I just didn't like that it was cold?" It came out more like a question then an answer.
"Hm." She clearly checks me out and then she puts a finger in a hole in my pants. "Hey guess what?"
"What?"
"I'm in your pants." She laughs and removes her hand.
I roll my eyes. "Whatever."
"I mean you would probably let me." She shrugs like it is the most obvious thing in the world.
"No."
She chuckles.
I put my headphones back on and play another song. In The End by Black Veil Brides. I lay my head on the back of the couch, waiting for Ash.
Ruby's POV:
"Okay Gw-" Ash starts to say.
"I will take her. You'll be late for work."
"Ok. Thanks." She leaves.
I shake Gwen awake. "Hey."
She removes her headphones. "What?"
"Ash will be late for work if she takes you, so I will."
"Um ok let's go." She gets up.
"Yeah let's." I follow her out to my car. "Red one dear." She gets in and I do too.
On the way there I left the radio off, and she put on her headphones again.
I drive to the same place I work and park the car.
Gwen and I get out. "Where are we?" She asks.
"My work. They have a job offer open." I open the door for her and follow her in. "This way." She follows me and we stop in front of a big brown door. My boss's door. I knock and it opens.
"What?" My boss sticks his head out, eyes landing on me.
"Oh! Ruby! What a surprise! And who is this?" His eyes turn to Gwen.
"I'm Gwen. I'm here for a uh job interview?" She looks at me.
He looks her up and down. Not in a sexual way. "Hm. Let's see if we have your size. If we do, your hired."
We follow him to a locker room in the back. "Size?" He asks.
"T-ten." Gwen stutters.
"Wait here please." He leaves and a few minutes later comes back with a folded uniform. "I'll leave while you try this on, but come out and show me." He leaves.
"Ruby?! What the hell is this?" She unfolds the clothes. It was a pair of short black spandex, so short that they looked like underwear and a white skirt that barely covers the spandex. Then it's a skin tight, red, crop top the front is a low V neck. And last was a black pair of three inch stiletto heels.
"Your uniform. I'll turn, get dressed." I say and turn.
"Ugh. Better be good pay." I hear her get into the uniform. "Done." I turn back around.
"Good it fits." Damn she looks hot in that.
"Let's go show what's his face."
"Carl." We walk out and he is there.
"Good! Good! I'm glad it fits! Now you may come back with Ruby tomorrow for a rundown, you don't have to wear the uniform for that. And then tomorrow I will tell you when you start." He smiles and leaves. Gwen goes back and changes and I wait for her.
When she comes back out she asks. "What's your job?"
"DJ." I point to the stage.
"Oh cool."
"Indeed."
