Part 11 - Sleepover

"Yeah sure, i'll be there 20-30 minutes, laters" Beau hung up.

20 minutes later, I got a text from Beau saying he was outside the hospital. "Hey Beau, i really appreciate you doing this" i said giving him a hug. "Anytime, cya" he replied handing my bag and pillow.  I walked back into the hospital saying my goodbyes to everyone.

After 10 minutes i went in to Gabi's room. She was sitting there reading on her phone. "Hi" i said. She looked up "hey what are you doing here?" she said confusingly.

"Umm sleepover?" i smirked. Her face was shocked, "What about after hours?"

"Well remember how you're dad was supposed to stay? well i am" i said.

"Thank you but you don't have to.." she stated.

"Nah it's all good" i winked at her.

....

"So do you know what you're having for dinner?" i broke the silence.

"Umm not sure yet" she said sadly.

After an hour or so we ended up eating chicken soup with tea... Wasn't too nice so i went to the cafeteria and grabbed us some snacks that consisted of chips, gobstoppers and her favourite; nerds. We went through a few games of match, shoot shag marry celebrities and naughts & crosses. I won of course. Around 10:00 she fell asleep and i wasn't far from it.

I have school tomorrow so i have to go to sleep otherwise i wont wake up. Argh i got to put my alarm on for 6:30. i can just walk to school it's not that far. I'll just leave my pillow here in the morning giving me an excuse to come visit her again. I think i'm falling for her... But i heard she liked this James kid. I guess i'll just have to take her out and stuff.

MORNING -

I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off. Gabi was still sleeping, she looked adorable. I grabbed my backpack that had my uniform in it and got changed in the bathroom. I sprayed my lynx, flicked my hair and smartened my tie. I walked out with a greeted "Good Morning," Gabi said, "You look smart" she said winking at me.

I'm sorry Gabi but i've got to go to school, i'll come visit later. Do you know what's happening?" i asked.

"I think i'm having an x-ray for my ribs" she replied sadly. I went up to her and gave her a hug; trying not to crush her and i walked out.

Gabi's P.O.V

Hmm Luke looked cute in his uniform i thought to myself. No Gabi you can't say that, he's popular and you're just well you're .... I know he would never go for me because he has a swamp of girls after him but i do have my fantasy's. I mean i had a dream last night, i went to the movies with Luke and watched the last song because it's my favourite movie, we went for a short walk and found an amazing view where we layed there looking up at the stars. That when he looked at me and leaned in.

Sadly i woke up to the sound of the bathroom door closing, i was guessing that was Luke. I mean he stayed the night which was sweet. He had left and i had a day ahead of me with my scans and x-rays.
