Aria's POV
I woke up to the bright sun pecking through my windows. I turned to look at clock that read 9:18 a.m. I stood up and pulled a Team Germany sweatshirt on over my head. I walked down my stairs and into the kitchen obviously with Titan, Adler, and Björn. I fed them before cooking eggs for myself. I sat at the table eating and my phone started to ring.
"Titan, mein telefon" I said pointing to my phone. He stood up and trotted over to my phone, picking it up gently with his mouth and bringing to me. I looked at the called ID and it was from America. Why would someone from America be contacting me? I remembered some English before I answered. "Um...He-hello" I asked obviously confused with the situation. "Hi ya, um I'm looking for Aria Mu-um Miller" He asked and I chuckled. "It's Müller but ya, that me. Can I help you with something" I asked bringing my dishes to the sink. "Actually yes, my name is Mike Sullivan, coach of the Pittsburgh Penguins NHL team. " He said as I walked to the kitchen. "Oh, that's cool, but can I help you with something" I asked turning on the sink. "Oh ok, well do you think you could consider coming to visit, you know Pittsburgh? Do you have your green card and stuff" He asked and I was so confused. "Yes, I have my green ca- Wait, why would I just come to America for no reason Mitch" He laughed on the other line. "Mike. My name's Mike but we think you have experience with hockey and you're a veteran from the military, am I correct" He asked as I put him in speaker to fill the dishwasher. "You are correct but I not in the American Military so why would you like me" I asked as I finished and started it. "Ya see, we've seen pictures of you and listened to your battle stories and we find them very interesting and we would just like to have a couple conversations with you about everything" I went upstairs to make my bed putting him in speaker again. "Who's we" I asked pulling all the sheets off the bed. "Oh ya, the team, and staff and stuff" I nodded still kind of confused. "Ok" I said smiling to myself. "Well, there's a hospital that deals with our players and staff. They need a new manager to work there and I was also informed that you work at a hospital too. If you get interested just call this number again. I hope you have a great day. I'll hopefully talk to you soon" Just like that he ended the call. "What you think Alder" I asked my gentle giant lying on the couch that didn't understand a single word I said. Stupid Finnish dog. But I love them all. All 8 of them....

3 Hours Later
I've been sitting on my porch looking at information about Pittsburgh. Quite an interesting place. I mean it would be nice to go to America. As long as it's not anywhere near Washington D.C, that place confuses me so much. "Protéger me téléphone" I said in French to the closest dog to my phone. He scampered over to me with my phone in his mouth gently dropping it on my thigh and laying at my feet. "Merci beaucoup" I said smiling and he barked back at me. After a couple rings I got an answer. "This is Mr. Sullivan's assistant, how may I help you" A perky lady said on the other line. "Um, yes may I speak to Mr. Sullivan" I asked quite scared that she'd think I'm some weirdo. "Who may this be" She asked politely. "Um, Aria Müller, he called me this morning about job thing" I said face palming myself for sounding like an idiot. "Ok sweetheart, I'll transfer you to him" I smiled to myself. "Thank you" I said moving my laptop back into my lap to grab my files to talk to him about. "What's up, Aria? How have to been? Good? Are you here to tell me you'd like the job? Sorry, I'm just very curious. How are you" He asked chuckling. I laughed awkwardly. "So I need special medication and they have to be transported with me. So I don't know what I'm gonna do about that.I said looking at all my medication codes. "Kid, we can get all the stuff imaginable for you. But first, tell me about you" He said leaning back in his chair.

30 minutes later (3rd Person)
"And finally, I have 8 dogs, 4 being guard dogs, one disabled dog and 3 retired military dog that fought with me in Pakistan. I adopted them so they wouldn't die of insulation on the battle field. They went back to my home in Berlin where I live at the moment. " He slowly nodded pulling another tissue out of his box wiping his eyes after hearing everything that's happened to her. "Ok, we can transfer all of your dogs along with all of your necessities and stuff" He said writing everything down and handing it to his assistant. "Great, so can you recommend any apartments I can rent over there" Aria asked closing her computer as she walked inside as it got dark. "Um actually, even though you served for a different country, we'd like to buy you your own house" He said smiling brightly. "Oh, you wouldn't have to do that, I have money, a lot of money" She said greatly appreciative of his offer. "No we insist, we want you to have an amazing life after everything that you went though from war to family to anything. Please, let us do this" He said motioning to his assistant to take a small stack of files. "So what we do about my job in Universitätsklinikum Heidelberg" She asked opening her schedule to her hospital. "I'm sorry, your what" He asked and she rolled her eyes. Americans eh? "My hospital. I work at hospital in Heidelberg. What I do with that" She asked concerned about the hospital. "Oh yes of course. We'll be talking to them about that over the weekend about you getting transferred to our hospital. By the way, we do have German players on the tan so you will be able to talk to people so you don't feel isolated from everyone else. He said chuckling and she laughed too. "Kid, when did you go to war" He asked as she walked upstairs to her washroom. "I was drafted when I was 18, I got out about 5 months ago and I'm 22 now" I said proudly as could be for my line of duty. "Wow. 5 years. That's incredible kid. You're going to get a lot of people wanting to hear your stories so be prepared for that" He said laughing again and she smiled. "Anyways, I'll send you a plane ticket to Verlin for Pittsburgh say in two weeks and if you're interested in the job afterwords, I'll send my people to come help you pack so you don't have to carry all that stuff out by yourself" He said chuckling. She smiled at the dogs that were looking at her. "Thank You very much Mitch, I mean Mike" She said rolling her eyes at her own stupidity. "Call me Mitch kid, it's ok" He said chuckling as he scrolled through houses that were interesting. "Haha thank you" She said grabbing her computer and setting it on the counter. "Ok have a good night, just call if you have any questions, comments or concerns" He said and she nodded. "Ok I will, have a good night" She ended the call and looked around. "Well, I might as well look up pictures of Pittsburgh while I'm on my computer" She said out loud talking to herself.
