It's moments like these that you realize that all of the safety precautions we are taught before the flight are basically useless. Because in the heat of panic, nobody knew what they were- nobody knew what to do.
It all just happened to fast.
From the explosion, to the pressure changing, the people screaming in a heap of panic, and finally to the collision.
"Look Mina, it snowed." Mark whispered from where he stood at the window. I sat up in bed and rubbed my eyes. "Then.. Why does it feel so warm?" I asked.
Suddenly, I was curious about his excitement for snow. Mark was more of the beach type, so it was beyond me why he was behaving this way. "Let's go outside." He smiled.
My eyes fluttered open, and I was met with the scared face of a man. Instantly I felt a sharp pain on my lower back. "Are you okay?" He asked. His hair was a mess, and his arm had a huge burn on it. I slowly nodded, when he reached for my shoulder. "We need to go come on." The man reached for my hands and helped me up guiding me out of the plane. The plane had a huge hole on the side, that helped us evacuate easily. I felt relieved when I met the eyes of Yoongi outside the plane. "Oh you're alright! I thought you were dead." He exclaimed helping me keep my balance when my feet hit the sand.
"Just because they're eyes are shut, doesn't mean they're dead." The man who helped me said. "Shut up."
Yoongi replied bitterly. "So how many passengers are alive?" I asked, scanning the shore. The island we were on looked deserted, and there was nothing but water that could be seen for miles and miles."Seven." The man who helped me off the plane answered. I'm just gonna call him hero for now. "Why don't we take turns introducing ourselves?" Hero suggested, getting nods from everyone. "I'll go first, my name is Namjoon, or Rap monster which is my stage name. I was going to Tokyo for a concert." Hero, or Namjoon said sitting back for someone else to talk. "I'm taehyung, or V my stage name. I was going to Tokyo for a concert as well." V said gesturing to Namjoon. "I'm Rachael, I was going to Tokyo for.. M-my honeymoon-n." A woman with brown hair and light blue eyes whimpered. "I'm Adam, I was going to Tokyo for a festival with my friends, which they are at now cause they took a different plane." A man with black hair, and hazel eyes said. "I'm Mina, I was going to Tokyo to see my parents." I said, scanning everyones eyes. "I'm Jin, I was going to Tokyo for a concert." Jin said raking his hands through the sand. The last person to talk was the same man with strawberry pink hair that I had bumped into, only he didn't talk. He sat quietly with his knees hugged to his chest, resting his chin on his arms.
"That's Jimin." Namjoon finally said. Everyone eyed Jimin closely, wondering what was up with this guy. I mean, I know we're stuck on a deserted island, but where are your manners dude? "Does anyone have a working phone? Mines useless." Yoongi asked glancing at everyone. "Broken." Rachael said, throwing her phone on the sand. "Broken." Taehyung said following Rachel's actions. "Nope." Namjoon said as well. "Mines in an okay condition, but no signal." Jin said, pulling his phone out of his pocket. I reached into my pocket and was suprised when my phone had no scratches or cracks evident on it. "Mina?" Yoongi asked. "Uh.. No signal." I said, placing it in my pocket. We all eyes Jimin once again only to hear him mumble a quiet "Broken."
"What now?" Jin asked. Namjoon sighed and raked his fingers through his hair. "Well, hopefully someone will find us. I mean who's not gonna notice that a plane is missing?" He said hopefully. "I'm gonna go look around for anything useful." Taehyung said standing up from where he previously sat criss-cross.
...
"Found it!" Taehyung yelled in victory. "What? What did you find?!" Namjoon questioned rushing over to Taehyung who stood next to a purple backpack. "My nintendo!" Tae yelled running around and shoving his blue nintendo into everyones face.
"I swear I have never wanted to die as badly as I do now." Yoongi mumbled bitterly walking off into the forest. I slowly looked to the sea, my eyes softening when they landed on the familiar pink hair. I hesitantly when to sit next to him, afraid he might lash out on me or something. Sitting next to him, I saw tears in his eyes. His brilliant brown eyes wore the reflection of the sunset sea, causing me to stare in awe.
"Hello." I greeted kindly. Jimin glanced at me and looked to the ground before letting out a silent "Hi."
"Um.. Well, it's getting late I was wondering if you wanted to hang with us by the fire?"Adam was an honorary boyscout so he agreed to help us build a fire. "Sure." Jimin answered looking me in the eyes. I smiled sweetly and extended my hand out. He took my hand, and allowed me to pull him to his feet. "Ah Jimin-ah, finally come to join us?" Taehyung sung out, extremely focused on his mario game.
"Ya, ya, shush. I'm here, and that's all that matters." Jimin rolled his eyes. Rachael had already fallen asleep on the sand, near the fire and Adam had left to go find blankets in the airplane. "So, what now?" Jin asked glancing around at everyone's face. "Well, now we sleep. Good night." Namjoon smiled.
"I found four blankets." Adam informed us, making his way back to the fire. "Well, that's good."
Taehyung sighed. "What about food?" Jin questioned, getting a groan from Namjoon in return. "That's all you're worried about? Food!?" He exclaimed. Jin shook his head and scoffed. "I'm sorry, but food kind of is a necessity if I want to survive!"...
