An Interrupted Study Session (Part One) - Draomine Fanfiction.

"I need to tell you something important."

O.W.Ls were coming up and Hogwarts students were studying hard. At least they were supposed to be, but many had resigned themselves to the fact that they would fail and decided to spend the last few weeks at their leisure.
Having fun, exploring the castle and pranking friends and teachers.

Hermione Granger did not have this attitude towards O.W.Ls. She spend days and nights after days and nights studying, reading, practising and writing. Exams were of utmost importance to her. She COULD NOT fail.

One night at about 10:30pm Hermione was studying in the library. She was alone and growing more tired by the minute. Just as she had finished reading 'Hogwarts A History' for what must have been the 50th time, she heard a noise behind her. Spinning round she saw that it was Draco Malfoy - quite possibly the last person that she wanted to see. Not just because of the things he called her or because of the long lasting feud between him and her best friend, it was because since the very first day of Hogwarts, in her very first year, she had feelings for Malfoy. Feelings that had only grown with the teenagers' growing hormones.
"Hi Draco." Hermione said nervously.
"Hello." Draco said.
"Erm I was just going.." Hermione stuttered, Draco was coming closer and she felt rather nervous. She quickly gathered up her books and started to walk past Draco. Just as she stepped past him, Draco put a firm hand on her arm.
"Wait." He said. "Don't go."
"I.. I really should be going." Hermione stuttered. "I have to study tomorrow and I should go to bed."
"I need to tell you something important..." Draco said in that chocolatey voice Hermione had grown to secretly love.
