The Transformation

Surfing basics was pretty easy. until you get in the water... surfing is hard! but I was getting pretty good at it.

"Alright Madison. do you see that nice looking wave? well get ready to stand!"

"Alright," I stood up. "I'm doing it! I'm doing it!" I Chant. then it hit me. the wave was salty but I decided I needed to five in or be shredded up by it. I clearly didn't make the decision fast enough, the wave had came in full force. I went under. Madison, your dead. I knew it was the end. but all the sudden, I started breathing! I slowly open my eyes.

"what the Heck?!" I yell as a few MERMAIDS come up to me!

"don't freak out Madison. for you are now in the transformation. you must save Atlantis, for it is under control of the sea witch. you are our last hope. we need you now. save your mom!" one says.

"First off, my mother is a human. second off, who are you? third off, how is this possible?! I thought it only worked in movies!" I said.

"Ok. don't freak out. you mom was married to your father. but she was a mermaid and that's why they were always at the beach. that's his connection. she gave birth to you, but knew you'd turn later. she gave you to your father, for she couldn't raise you in the ocean. also I'm Atlanta. and yea the story explains all."

"But, who's my mom. I thought my mom was Sarah, the girl who looks like Amy pond."

"Who? oh, never mind. your mom is Marissa. original queen if the ocean. But now she is in jail, for her evil sister, your aunt, has overthrown her and you, Hannah, are the only one who can save her!"

"But how? why am I the only one? what?"

"Look, your the only know descendant of Marissa, thus, she only will trust you to save her. you need to find the amulet of Atlantis. that's where she is locked up. that amulet will unlock her cage, and defeat the evil queen. so here is a map on how to find it, and I have two trusty mer-friends for you to meet along the way. they will help a fellow mermaid."

"But, WAIT WAIT WAIT, IM A MERMAID?!" I guess I forgot to look down. I had a beautiful dark green tail, and a purple top. too bad I have blonde hair instead of red, id look like Ariel! but at least I have light blue eyes...

"I am going to give you this conch shell, before you go. in case you'll ever find yourself in trouble, and they can't help."

"Thank you" I smiled.

"Lets start the hunt!"
