Chapter 14: Warzone

Abi's POV:

I woke up at about seven this morning. Early bird gets the worm! So anyway, I found a note on the fridge from Jay saying that he took Madi to the hospital to see her grandma and that they would be back soon. Just as I finished reading the note, they walked in the door. They both looked extremely tired and neither of them acknowledged my presence. They walked up the stairs, probably to go sleep for half of the day.

Jay's POV:

Madisyn pulled me into her room and shut the door behind us before standing on her toes and kissing me lightly.

"Thank you so much for coming with me, Jaybird," she whispered before giving me another kiss. I wrapped my arms around her waist and deepened the kiss. It didn't last very long, though, considering both of us were in desperate need of some sleep.

"Anytime,' I whispered back before picking her up and laying her down on her bed and pulling the covers over her.

I was about to walk out when I heard, "Jay?"

"Hmmm?"

"Will you close my blinds?"

"Sure thing," I closed the blinds.

"Jay?"

I sighed and turned around, "Yes, love?"

"Stay with me?" I couldn't resist that look. Her eyes shined as she stuck out her bottom lip. I chuckled before heading towards her bed, pulling back down the covers, and climbing in next to her. I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her in close. My chin rested on top of her head. I heard her sigh as she leaned into my chest. We both fell asleep instantly.

Taylor's POV:

I was awakened by the loud ringing that just happened to be my phone. "Hello?" I answered grogily.

"Hey Tay," It was my sister, Zoe. She sounded worried.

"Hey Zo, what's up?"

"Um, you might want to come to the Starbucks around the corner right now,"

"What, why?"

"Just get here within the next ten minutes," she said before hanging up. I decided it must be important, so I put on a quick and simple outfit. Right as I was about to head out the door, Tom came up behind me.

"Where you goin?" he asked.

"Starbucks,"

"You mind if I come with? I'm in desperate need of a coffee,"

"Sure," So he followed me out the door. We walked there and I found my sister sitting at a table in the corner.

"Who's he?" she asked, poining to Tom.

"Oh, this is Tom. He's in the band we're working with."

"Oh okay,"

"What was so important?" I asked.

"Well, erm..." she pointed toward a couple kissing in the corner. When they pulled away, I could faintly make out the face of my boyfriend, Matt. He was kissing some blonde slut.

"Oh my God..." I whispered.

"I'm so sorry, sis..." Zoe said.

Tom looked confused, "What's going on?" he asked.

I responded by burrying my face in his shirt and letting the tears fall. I seriously thought he was the one. He was MY Matt and nothing would be able to break us apart. It was going to be us against the world. But that's all over now. Tom must have been giving Zoe looks over my shoulder because Zoe said, "Her boyfriend,"

Tom wrapped his arms around me in a tight embrace, "I'm so sorry, Tay," he whispered in my ear. "Wait here," he said before he walked off.

I watched him walk to the other side of the room and tap on Matt's shoulder. As soon as he turned around, Tom socked him in the jaw and walked off calmly. "What the hell was that, man!?!?!?" Matt called after him.

Tom simply layed his arm around my shoulder and said, "Let's go," Matt saw me and his eyes widened. I shook my head at him, my cheeks still wet with tears. I grabbed Tom and Zoe, and the three of us walked out the door.

Tom's POV:

We dropped Taylor's sister off on our way back to the house. When we opened the door to their flat, we saw Nathan and Abi cuddling on the couch. Abi saw Taylor's tear-stained face and sat up immediately. "What happened hun?" she asked.

"I think this is more of a girl problem," I explained, handing Taylor to Abi, who guided her up the stairs to talk.

I sat down next to Nath on the couch. "What's up with her?" he asked.

"Her boyfriend cheated on her," I explained.

"Oh..." he looked down for a moment before facing me again, "What'd you do to him?"

"Why do you assume I did something?" I snapped.

"Because you and Tay have gotten really close, and you have a bit of an anger management problem..." I was pretty angry when he said that, but of course he was right, as always.

"Fine, I punched him," I said proudly.

"Classy," Nathan said.

Alright, I need you guys's help... I want to know whether you guys want Taylor and Tom to get together or if you want them to just be best friends... OR MAYBE they could be best friends and then fall in love later on... hmmm... so yeah, PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK(: I NEED HELP!!!!
