Water filled her mouth as she spoke.
Her eyes narrowed.
And she gathered her power intent to return to the sacred mountain.
What she found instead was a frozen land that was similar but at the same time, not her destination.
She took some gasping breaths.
Her grey-white hair bounced as if she hasn't been wet.
"Brother what have you been up to?"
The woman licked salt water from her lips before standing on unsteady legs.
Picking up her long dress she went as fast as her legs would let her towards snowblade palace.
She was confused by what she saw.
Manny ice tribe members and none of her brothers subjects.
She saw a guard.
"I am princess Tsunami I seek an audience with the king"
The ice guard looked her over than escorted her to the throne room where. The king was consorting with his friends.
"My king princess Tsunami to speak with you"
Ka Suo turned to see a young woman with white hair and jewellery most commonly found in the mermaid tribe.
"Brother?...no you are not my brother what is going on where is the king are we not in the sacred mountain?"
Ka Suo shared a look with his companions and offered Tsunami a seat which she gratefully took as her already unstable legs where shaking.
"I'm afraid the king of the sacred mountain is dead, you are in the new immortal realm the sacred mountain was sealed off for 10 thousand years before it was reopened and the crazed king killed to stop more death"
Tsunami nodded slowly.
"I see, I have no love for the old king but from what I have heard my half brother is long dead"
Ka Suo's heart went out to her.
"This must be difficult, do you have a clan you can go to for the time being many that can help you get back on your feet?"
Tsunami nodded.
"My mother is of the mermaid tribe and my father of the ice tribe"
Ka Suo was slowly assembling a puzzle, her calling him brother and her lineage, her brother was his ancestor the one who famously created the glacier.
"I can summon the mermaid saint and the three of us can go over your options, for now, I shall escort you to a room where you can rest"
She followed on wobbly legs and eventually gave in and used his offered arm for stability his wife was following close by seeming more concerned Tsunami might fall than the fact a woman was touching her husband.
"Thank you"
The newcomer said with a bow to both of them before flopping onto her bed to sleep soundly.
She felt so tired.
