So word for today
"You are beautiful no matter what they say word can't bring you down"The bell rung and I remained seated hoping to wait out the crowd of 'kids' stampeding their way to the door hoping all was clear so I won't meet the same crowd I met in the morning I mean it's feels really good to be free from that bondage called a foster home but being in the mist of so many people is just disturbing.
It was Monday, the first day of school and honestly, there was not a more joyous occasion. School away from the foster home was great and at least I get to leave the house to see people real people that leave with their parents with different things to talk about everyday, not living in the same place you school with every one from a background similar to yours and rear smiling faces. creepy right?I sighed heavily and opened the locker that happened to be the one, the number written on the paper I was given by the principal was on, throwing my books in, I turned to glance at my self in the small mirror attached to the locker door I closed my locker slightly to see another locker that had the same mirror, maybe everyone has it. I shrugged and looked back at the mirror studying my reflection. My hair was up in a pony tail my green eyes matches the green baggie shirt I was wearing making my eyes stand out.
I haven't really gone shopping since I _ you know recovered from my mental break down. well I never looked at my self in the mirror cause I really didn't care how I looked."Like what you see? I don't think I do anyways" a voice sneered sarcastically from behind me.I whirled on my heels to come face to face with miss gorgeous.
Her dirty blonde hair cascaded in smooth waves down her back, out lining her slim jawline she wore a transparent blue blouse and a flea short skirt, showing off her thin legs, her entire look ending with stilettos. Her face was caked with make up and her tan was so bright, every one would have to squint to look at her. She was a living barbie and immediately I envied her."What are you starring at?" She growled yet she was smiling slightly. Yes, it was evident in her eyes that she was aware that I envied her.
She chuckled slightly to her self
"You should know my name by now, cause it's said around the school well in case you were too deaf to here it, it's Kayla" she flipped her hair and it hit me slightly.
"Aren't I so nice not to comment on your hideous out fit. How pathetic" she squeaked, looking down at her nails.I looked around. Students stood and watched as the scene played out. Most sniggered at my plight yet a small fess look in sympathy.
Wow my first day and I already have a hater life away from that foster home could get interesting.
She walked away from me her heels tottering against the hard floor.
Now seriously what was the use of her making that scene and making me star in it. Everyone has turned away. The entertainment had left and I'm grateful the attention had been taken off me.
I quickly grabbed all my assignment from my locker then scanned the hallway hoping to find Louis. Then again my eyes found Kayla her arms where around a guys neck and his on her waist they were kissing right in front of everyone. How shameful. Seriously who is that unfortunate guy with her I mean she is a beautcy. Get that beautiful and b*tch
She finally pulled away from the guy just to see... Ladies and gentle men... The unfortunate guy is Louis. I frowned a little and turned away from the ridiculous site.
"What are you doing hanging around here with your face like that" Louis asked resting beside me on his Lamborghini.
"I don't know just chilling around" note the sarcasm
"Seriously?" He gestured to our surrounding "out here?"
"Yes" I said in a really calm tone "I've been standing here for the past hour waiting for a ride home and you finally show up and you are asking me...you know what just give me the keys" I raised my hand in front of him and surprisingly he handed them over
"Here you go just don't spoil anything or you'll have to get me a new one" his lips lifted up in a smirk
"Argh just take me home" I threw the keys at him after opening the car.
"You should know I'm having after school basketball practice so you'll still have to wait for like two hours more" he handed the keys back
"Are you kidding me,what do you expect me to do for two hours"
"You can come watch me practice he shrugged " I mean if you want. Trust me it's fun".
"It's okay I'll pass. I'll just wait here and do my assignment".
I took the key from him and shut the door. I turned on the car waiting for the air conditioner to take action and cool off the hotness building it self in me.
I looked through the window at
Louis running off." just don't spoil anything" I mocked turning on the radio
Up town funk by Bruno mars filled the air. I quickly turned it off. This was our favorite song we listened to it most times when he was teaching me new skills he learnt in basketball.I immediately felt tears in my eyes I blinked it back in, biting on my lips so hard I tasted blood.
I took my assignment from my bag to do so I could not think about it. "It's my past now forget it" I told my.
