Selena is not your typical seventeen year old, her passion is dancing and its what she puts all of her time and energy in. She doesn’t think relationships are worth her time when every boyfriend she has ever had ended up breaking her heart. And she doesn’t really have many friends since dancing is her number one priority but the two she does have Megan and Ashley, are the best friends a girl can have. When everything including dancing gets to be to much they are the ones who take her away from it all. Selena has horrible insecurity but she hides them well. When she was thirteen her father got a rare opportunity to become on of the main fisherman’s out in Los Angeles causing them to leave Texas. Selena was very defiant about the move, Texas is where her entire life was, all her family and all her friends were there. She couldn’t picture living anywhere else and once she got to LA everything went downhill, everywhere she turned the women were perfect. Selena thought she had to look like them in order to fit in, which is when the eating disorder started but Selena was already naturally skinny so when she looked in the mirror and didn’t see much of a difference she started getting really depressed which made her start to cut herself. Mandy and Ricardo knew something was wrong but they didn’t know how bad things were until one night Mandy walked in on Selena cutting her wrists. After that they got her all the help she needed and that’s when Selena got into dancing, it quickly became her new obsession. But four months ago Selena’s father was in a terrible boating accident that killed him and his partner. Now she finds herself skipping dance practice to sneak off to the lighthouse her and her father had been going to ever since they moved to LA. Nobody knows about the lighthouse, not even her mother. It was just one of those things that Selena and her dad shared between the two of them. They were extremely close, Selena was Ricardo’s number on priority, he never once missed a show, he always supported her even when he knew she was making the wrong decision he never once argued her beliefs. Selena misses her dad more than anyone truly knows, she keeps it all bottled up inside because she doesn’t want to seem weaker than she already think she looks. She likes going to the lighthouse and read some of her fathers favorite poems, it’s pretty much her only release besides dancing, but lately that hasn’t really been helping. As much as Selena’s ashamed and disgusted by it, she has let into the temptation of the razor blade more then a few times since her fathers death but she keeps it hidden.

Justin Bieber only seventeen and already one of the worlds biggest superstars, but even with all the fame and fortune he’s able to stay humble and remember where he comes from. Charity’s are a big part of his life especially when it comes to deprived kids and education. But in a way he is just a normal seventeen year old, or at least he would like to think he is. He wants to be able to walk around without having paparazzi follow him, or have loose lips and not have them held against him. He wants a girlfriend but he has trust issues, which is understandable after all the times he has been used for his money and fame it’s hard for him to let people in let alone get close to them. Justin has four best friends, Alfredo who is also his photographer, Jadan, Ryan, and Chaz. But Ryan and Chaz both live in Canada so it’s hard for him to find time to visit them but he tries to fly them out as much as possible. Family is very important to him, his mother and father split up when he was a baby and his dad later got married and had two other children Jazmyn and Jaxon who are Justin’s world. Justin also tries to make as much time for his fans as possible, when ever he is on the street and people stop and ask for pictures or autographs he never hesitates. He just wishes sometimes he wouldn’t get recognized as much. Right now Justin is working on his fourth album Believe, it’s his most anticipated album to date so he’s really stressing on making it as perfect as possible. He’s taking short break before all the heavy duty promoting starts but that doesn’t mean he’s not in the studio almost everyday.
