It was 8th period gym class. Billy and Steve were playing shirts vs skins, Steve being shirts and Billy being skins. Steve was dribbling the ball when Billy came up behind him, stealing the ball right out of Steves hands. Billy passes in front of Steve, causing him to see three very noticeable scratch marks trailing down Billy's back. It automatically hit him, (y/n). Steve was so confused by everything that had been happening. He felt like he had been in a coma for the last week, he felt left out.

The period flew by fast, skins winning by 10 points thanks to Billy. Steve, Billy and Tommy were all sharing a shower. "Good game, Harrington" Billy smirked at Steve. "Yeah, you too... What's going on with you and (y/n)?" Steve asked curiously. "Oh, you know. She's a real special girl. I'm pretty into her." Billy responded. Steve felt like he had to protect you, sort of like an older brother. "Yeah, I can tell. Listen, don't hurt her. She's been through a lot and I don't want to have to kick your ass, Hargrove." Billy nodded. "And that hickey and those scratches, they better be from her. One thing you need to know about (y/n) is that ever since the incident with her dad, she doesn't take shit." Steve continued.

Billy kept hearing about your dad, but he still wasn't aware of what happened. He felt extremely out of the loop. "I know something happened with him, but I'm not sure what. I keep hearing about him. I see (y/n) cringes and the mention of his name... I want to help her, but I can't unless she tells me what happened." "What, you mean she hasn't told you yet?" Steve looked surprised. "Don't worry, when shes ready, she will." Steve continued, "but you should really prepare yourself, it's some pretty fucked up shit."
