"I knew I should have waited." She mumbles under her breath as she runs through the hail. A couple of nails for a bench is not worth this.

As she enters the store she gets a few curious looks but she ignores them and heads towards what she came for.As she turns the corner to get the nails she violently slams into another stranger.

This is so embarrassing! Her mascara is running, her hair is matted from running in the rain, and she didn't wear a jacket so the rain seeped through her white shirt displaying her hot pink sports bra. I can't believe this! Of all the times for me to look a mess!

She finally got back to reality and took note that he was talking. "The storm is going to be pretty bad, I'd better get out of here Miss." He says with a chuckle and walks away. That was weird... I'm wasting time! I need to get the nails and get out.

She found the nails and just as she grasps the package, the lights go out. Panic immediately followed the blackout. Screams fill the store and she freezes.

She's terrified of the dark. So much so that if a serial killer with a hariform came out at her she would be like fish on a hook.

Calm down Ivy. Breathe. You can move.

Her words did nothing to remove her from her current state. I can't move.

"Dear God help me. I don't want to die in a department store." The lights turn on, and the excruciating fear passes.
