A little girl were quivering underneath her bedsheets as she listened to the argument of her parents. They were yelling at each other in Russian. The girl's father was an violent alcoholic. His eyes darkened into a boozed filled with anger. Occasionally, he would escalate to physical violence. He punched his wife straight to her face, causing her nose to bleed. She fell to the floor. The terrifying woman began to crawl away from her drunk angry husband. The man was beating her so savagely. He overpowered her, until her body has became still and lifeless. The husband has beaten his wife to a bloody pulp. He panted with rage. Once the adrenaline mellowed, his eyes widen to see what the incident he created. His hands were covered in blood. He was standing near his dead wife's corpse as the red thick puddle flows to his feet. His anxiety grew. He could felt his heart pounding out of his chest. He looked at the gun which was by the counter. He picked it up and loaded a magazine into it before pulling a trigger. The poor little girl heard a loud bang from inside her room. She let out a scream and scurried under her bed. Later, two CIA agents were cleaning up the case until they witnessed a scared child. Tears streaming her face. With both of her parents dead, the agents comforted her like it was all right. Kerionika was the girl's name. She was 9 years old.
4 years passed.....
When lunch came around, Kerionika picked up her tray and looked for a empty table to sit, listening to other talking about their jobs as a CIA agent. As Kerionika picked up her food, there was a girl was walking up to her. That person was alone. She has other friends behind her.
"Hey," said the girl. "That's my seat you're sitting at"
Kerionika glanced up at her, "Oh I'm sorry I didn't see your name on it," she chuckled.
The girl furrowed her brows. She slammed down her hands on a table. Everyone in this room turned their heads to see what is going on. She pushed down her feelings to yell.
"Listen here, Miss smarty-pants," shouted the girl, "This table's been ours since you came abroad!"
"Oh no, I think I need a pair of pants," Kerionika chuckled. "You should've told me.....whoever you are"
One of the agents bravely got up from her table and made her way towards the new agent and the trio. She felt like somebody needed to stand up for the girl.
"Come on! I'm a new guest here!" Kerionika said.
"Oh where are my manners?" the bully said in a monotone voice. "I haven't introduced myself. We have a new meat!"
She revealed the showcase of her friends to Kerionika. "This is Francis," she pointed out at her tall and skinny friend. That person looked like she's been playing Basketball. "Here, this is Natasha," she pointed to the next one. Natasha was the big and brawny girl. She looked like she did a lot of pushups and lifting weighs. "And I'm," she said, "Helen. The leader. And I don't want anyone mess with me, or else they'll be expected something they don't want"
Kerionika stared at Helena in a blank stare. Then, a voice broke the silence, "Guys! Will you give her a break?" asked the agent. She stood next to Kerionika, making sure she don't get hurt.
"Oh no, I was just talking to a new chick," Helena replied with a sarcastic to the brave agent. "We wasn't harassing her. Oh and please that witch to stop looking at me, before I lose my cool and slam her face on a TABLE!"
The three left out the table. And Kerionika remained on her seat without saying a word. Something inside of Kerionika, she wanted to punch Helena, the so-called leader, in the face. She could felt anger and frustration demanding for satisfaction. The sensation she never felt before.
"Are you alright?" asked the agent.
"Yeah, I guess so," Kerionika replied in a flat tone. "So much to be fitting in"
"I know how you feel. If anybody bothers you, I'll be you for you. And you are....?"
"Kerionika. It's a pleasure to meet your acquaintance"
"Evelyn"
They both shook their hands and smiled.
The Present Day.....
There was a 35 year old Evelyn arrived at the casino after a long road from her apartment. She was dressed into a purple sleeve dress. The casino was owned by the powerful and corrupted businessman - Sanada Hideyuki. He also ran the arms smuggling operation in Orbit City. Before Sanada was successful, he was the leader of the Yakuza and ran a crime syndicate.
Buzz! Evelyn heard a quiet noise coming from her small purse. She dug into it and fished out her phone. Evelyn slid her finger over the phone screen. It opened up and showed a notification of a new text message has been sent to Evelyn. It seemed like the agency Evelyn was sent on a mission to bring in Sanada Hideyuki into custody. She read the text before shoving back into her purse. Before Evelyn entered the building, she put on lipstick as she applied the makeup. She glanced at a small mirror and admired her handiwork. Evelyn saw a valet walking in front of her. She got out of her car.
"May I have your keys, miss?" asked the valet.
"Sure," Evelyn replied.
She handed the keys to the man and grabbed it before enter the car. "Enjoy your life!" he said.
         "You too!," Evelyn said too.
The valet took off and drove around the casino for a empty parking space. Evelyn watched him from afar, then pulled the door handle open.
Nearby.....
Kerionika was sitting comfortably in her seat with a sniper rifle set up in front of her for a good shot by the ledge she assembled. Kerionika zoomed in her binocular and closely locked on her eyes on whose face was familiar. She saw a woman entering a casino. Her mind zipping with curiosity. The memory played in her mind, back when she and Evelyn used to be partners in the CIA HQ. They were on a mission in the desert, it was more like a rescue mission. The CIA director instructed Kerionika and Evelyn to go located one of their fellow agents and bring him over, until an ambush occurred as soon as the two sisters saved an agent, it was all part of the plan done by the Titanium Syndicate. There were a terrorist organization. The only lucky agent who survived, was Evelyn. When Kerionika hasn't been, barely made a escape with her step sister to the chopper. Kerionika couldn't believe what she saw. She went into a state of sad and disappointment. She suddenly felt the pain. Stranded all alone with no one around. In a verse of tears, Kerionika was discovered by one of the Titanium Syndicate agent, who was left behind, injured, and helpless. Something inside of Kerionika, snapped, the rage she never felt it before. It was pleasant. She began to swim into a black pool of anger and hatred. The ingredients were mixed into a form of power like - Helena, the so-called leader, knew where her buttons are. And the final product was her step sister Evelyn for leaving her alone. Now Kerionika has joined the Titanium Syndicate, and they've made her into a killing machine. Kerionika felt automatic anger on aside of her step sister. Evelyn wasn't there for her. She felt a burning sensation on her chest. Deep. Boiling. Anger.
Once Evelyn is inside, she scanned the hall for Sanada. The sounds were surrounding by slot machines. A lot of gamblers were at each of the parlors to win for money such as - Blackjack, Wheel of Fortune, Russian Roulette, etc. Evelyn saw a man who was standing out in the open where Sanada was being held in. Evelyn made her way to that person.
"Can I help you?" asked the bodyguard.
"Yes," Evelyn replied. "I'm here to see Sanada"
"Mr. Sanada doesn't like visitors"
"Well, I believe you haven't heard, I was one of his CEO from his business"
"Oh yeah? And I'm the fairy godmother"
"Oh really? Can I have a grant?"
A smirk spread across Evelyn's face. She let out a chuckle.
"Very funny, miss," said the bodyguard.
"How about a loan of a million dollars?" Evelyn asked again.
"What I look like? A bank manager? Now move along!"
Evelyn turned away from the person and she remotely pushed her finger on her right ear.
"Well....?" said the CIA director. "Have you met him yet?"
"No," Evelyn replied
"What happened?"
"Restricted"
"Hmm....I'll look through the security cameras"
The CIA director switched the computer screen and hacked into a monitoring camera in which to took control of the system. Evelyn pulled out her phone and looked what was in store for her. The camera switched in between the angles before changed it again. Nothing came on but spied from the lobby to the parlour, until stopped at what they like to see - Sanada Hideyuki. Looked like Sanada was doing business with the man in coat.
"Who is that?" Evelyn asked.
Her mind churned with questions. She was wondering who was that person with Sanada. It seemed like the mysterious person was a powerful tycoon in Orbit City. He was selling one of his weapons from his company to Sanada. Before Sanada got that deal, he had to sign the contract in order if he wanted to wipe out his enemies. The dealer slid the paper on the coffee table for Sanada could sign it. Evelyn rose a brow. She pushed her right ear, "Looks like somebody is offering our friend to sign the paper," Evelyn said.
"What was he doing here?" thought the CIA director.
"It seems like Mr. Fibs is making deals with Mr. Sanada over there. Hmm....interesting"
"Anyway, Evelyn, I'm gonna trigger the fire alarm for evaluation"
The CIA director has her fingers flying over the keyboards, forming a decrypted codes. And then out of warning, a loud blare goes off causing everybody frantically to turned their heads in alarm, including Mr. Fibs and Sanada. The hotel manager behind the desk announced them to be at the main lobby.
Mr. Fibs felt disappointed. He had to go what the manager said. "That goes my chance!" he grumbled.
"What is going on?" Sanada asked.
"I don't know!"
They both got up from their seats and made their ways out. They wondered why would be a fire alarm goes crazy. "Okay, I've activated the alarm," said the CIA director. "Now you can get Sanada. We've got a few questions for Mr. Fibs"
"On it," Evelyn said.
Sanada and Mr. Fibs began tagging along as they made their way out the door. Evelyn followed the two from afar, but carefully kept her distance without attracting any attentions. Once out of the casino, something hit Sanada with a loud bang. The others burst out a scream by the sound what sounded like gunshot....coming from nearby. Evelyn jumped. To her surprise, she was horrified what has happened. She was wondering who shot Sanada like that. The shot left Sanada's body where it fell. The blood slowly flow over the floor. Everybody is running around in panic. Evelyn's only purpose was to bring Sanada into custody, but instead she witnessed him got shot led to his death. Evelyn felt her heart in her throat. And her stomach sick. She doesn't know how she'd explain the director. Evelyn glanced around for the mysterious shooter, until she saw someone sitting by the rooftop. She pulled out her binocular and see who it was. She zoomed in close and noticed whose face was familiar. For some strange reason, she knew that shooter from somewhere. Evelyn rose a brow in confusion as she realized it was her step sister who she thought she was dead back then. Kerionika, now 33 year old, was watching her step sister as well and then lean away from her sniper's scope. Kerionika had a glaring look on her face. She could finally tasted that syrup. The sweet thick syrup stirring in her. Kerionika pushed her finger to her left ear, "Target's down," she said.
"Excellent work, Kerionika," said the mysterious voice in his German accent.
"When is it the time I get to kill the traitor?" Kerionika asked in a serious tone.
"Patience, Kerionika. You have your revenge after you've done for us"
"She will pay for the pain she caused me," she growled.
Kerionika gave Evelyn a glaring look so menacing.
Evelyn put down her binocular. "Kerionika?" she gasped.
