A smile spread on my face when we made it to the waiting area. Soon enough my parents and I would be boarding on a plain to Seoul, South Korea. I've never been to Korea despite the fact that my dad was raised there.
When my dad had married my mom they decided to live in America because they wanted to give their future children opportunities they didn't get to have. Even so my moms side of the family was close, so I often saw them. As a result I speak Spanish quite fluently. Despite that I still to time to learn Korean, I didn't want to make my dad feel like I didn't care about his side of our family.
Especially considering the fact that I love Kpop so much. Exo, BigBang, Got7, Seventeen, TWICE, Red Velvet, etc... You name it an I've probably already listen to at least one of there songs if not all of them.
It's why I'm so excited to go to Korea. I might even get to go to a few concerts.
