Ashlies POV

I woke up due to a loud crash in the basement. I decided to put on my socks and investigate. About two steps downstairs I heard the front door slam closed. I quickly ran down the stairs and looked through the window. I saw two figures that looked like me and Nick. They were heading towards the forest next to our house for some odd reason.

Apparently someone in this house isint deaf and actually woke up due to the slam of the door. I saw Nick walking down the stairs with his glasses tilted on his face. He kind of looked scared out of his mind which I was too.

Nick: Ashlie did you just slam the door?!?

Ashlie: Do you think I would wake up in the middle of the night just to slam the door?!?

That came out more rude than I wanted... I didnt want it to be rude at all...

Nick: Oh Im sorry that you were the only person at the door! Its not my fault it was the only reasonable explanation!

Ashlie: Oh shut up Nick!

Why are we acting so rude to each other? We dont usually act like this. I dont usually act like this. He doesn't usually act like this. Maybe its just because we just woke up...

Ashlie: Whatever just go put on your shoes and jacket I saw two people run into the woods next to our house. Im not gonna be able to sleep if I dont figure out what it was.

Nick: Fine.

Thankfully I was already wearing my socks and used to the cold so I didnt need to change. Sooner or later Nick was back with shoes on and his blue jacket. Couple of second later we were outside.

Some minutes passed by and we were already in the middle of the forest following two pairs of footsteps. Me and Nick didn't talk at all during this. We just passed glances and kept on walking. I was about to turn around and say we were just following some animal's footsteps. Keyword "about". Why was I about to say it but then stopped. Well you see the forest we live by has a very VERY steep cliff at the end of it. I didnt notice how close we were to the end of the forest until I saw two figures who looked exactly like me and Nick but just different colored clothing.

The other Nick had a grey jacket and slightly darker colored hair. The other me had a red sweater and instead of tiny stars they were tiny Xs. She also had white hair and black cat socks. Her bow also seemed ripped.

Me and Nick had the same idea. What was that idea? Simply turn around and act like we didnt see anything.

That would've worked unless they hadn't have turned around just before we did. I was about too grab Nicks arm and book it but who ever that girl is said something that just paralyzed me and Nick. What did she say? Well it was simple:

"There's no need to fear friend. Me and Dres are only here because of how eager your friends were to summon us."
