Circles (Part 2)

I am so friggen sorry, I know it's been a literal year since my last update on this book, things have gotten really crazy, and I hope you guys like it. Without further a do, here we are, Circles, Part 2

 After Nate and I exited the studio, a loud knock sounded at the door. I looked over at Nate and gave him a questioning look. As I walked to the door, I slowly unlocked the door then pried it open to reveal..it was MatPat and Steph. I take a step back and look at the lovely couple. 

"Well, are you two going to stand out there looking like a wet dog or are you gonna come on in" I remarked as I looked at the two.
  MatPat and Steph chuckled and entered the house. Nate came over and handed towels to the drenched couple.
"How long were you out there?" I questioned with a uncertain tone. Matt shrugged, "Long enough to be drowned rats. "

Matt & Stephanie's POV
"Matthew, I thought you said they knew we were coming. " Stephanie commented, her tone becoming more annoyed.

"I swear I called them!" Matt responded with a calmer tone. A moment later, a crack of thunder sounded and rain came pouring down into them. Stephanie huffed as she huddled into Matt, her hand not leaving her growing baby bump.
"Matthew..I'm cold" As if on cue, Matt quickly took off his game theorist bomber jacket and quickly wrapped it around her frail body. A second later, the door opened.

I chuckled and bought them into the living room to sit, "So, to what do I owe this visit?" Matt and Steph looked at each other with a smile I knew all too well. Matt's voiced sounded off, "Steph is pregnant and our house was broken into. We were wondering if well, we could stay here for a bit until the repairs are finished. " I smiled, and looked towards Nate, "I don't see why not, go and pack some things and come back. I'll have a lunch in prepared just for this occasion. " Matt and Stephanie smiled a thank you and left without a word.

About an hour later, Matt and Steph walked in with a small suitcase full of clothes and other necessities. I smiled as I placed four plates down on the hard oak table in the kitchen.
"Matt, upstairs is a spare bedroom, it's to the left next to the bathroom. Go head and unpack while Steph and I finish up lunch. "
As Matt ran up the stairs, suitcase in tow, I smiled towards Steph. "How far along are you?" I heard a small chuckle from Steph, "Only about six months, or so. " I helped Steph carry the rest of the plates and cups to the table then set down pitchers of diet and regular coke. The diet was closet to Matt. I watched as both Matt and Nate came running in and immediately sat down, Matt doing so whilst almost falling face first into the table. As Steph and I sat, we watched as both boys started shoving food into their mouths.
"Jeez, slow down you two, or you'll choke to death. " Steph laughed as she slowly ate her French Onion soup, and medium rare steak. I smiled as Matt piped up, "y/n, this lunch, well, dinner, is simply Devine. Thank you. " I smiled and blushed a bit. Stephanie nodded, "Where did you learn to cook this? The steak is just so juicy and the potatoes are so buttery." I hid my face on the table, "It was my late grandfathers recipe, he taught me how to cook since I was nine." Nate stayed quiet, unable to shake the feeling of being watched, He's here somewhere I just know it. I tilted my head and tapped Nate's wrist, "Nate, hon, what's wrong? You're never this quiet while Matt and Steph are here. " Nate shook his head and came back to reality, "I just didn't sleep well, I'm sorry guys. " Matt and Steph shook their heads, "No, no, you're okay, we've had a hard time sleeping with the baby on the way and the recent break in, it's been tough." Steph nodded, then sighed. "It's been a crazy week, it really has. " Matt responded, holding his wife's hand, gently rubbing her knuckles with his thumb.

After everyone finished, we all cleaned up and headed upstairs, Matt and Steph said their good nights, thank yous, and laughs. I watched as Nate headed into the bedroom and closed the door. I was alone. But not really
