It started out like a normal day. The old lady ate breakfast and fed Rey. But there was something weird that day the sky was green and there was no wind. When it was lunch a loud siren roared louder and quieter. The old lady grabbed Rey and ran downstairs. Then we went to a room surrounded by concrete. We heard lots of loud noises with glass crashing down when the noise stopped Rey was so scared she ran outside. And she kept on running on her way she found lots of food and knocked over trash cans. On her way she noticed that there was not a single person outside. When she came to a part of town that wasn't completely destroyed she saw a few people with badges. So the dog kept on running day and night finding food in knocked over trash cans one day Rey saw some people chasing a cat. They were next to a sprinter van that said "Animal patrol" then Rey growled at the cat. "Look there's a puppy over there." Said one to another "let's get him!" Said the other. Then one of the guys tried to slowly creep up on Rey but she was to smart she dashed under the car. But they had a net so they reached out with the net and captured Rey. Then they put Rey in a kennel in the van next to the cat. Rey didn't know what to think. "Maybe I'm going back to Josh." Thought Rey. They traveled for what felt like forever. When they stopped they opened the back and took out the cat and Rey. She could he all sorts of animals. But they didn't sound to happy. Rey was put in a big kennel with to other dogs. Another lab and a German Shepherd. Both way older than Rey. Not too long after they gave us each a bowl of food. Meanwhile Josh was hanging out more and he has already covered two towns. When the old lady saw the poster she called the number. When she did Josh picked up on the first ring. "Do you have my dog?!" Asked Josh. " No but I have seen him I kept him for a while and then when the twister hit he got scared and ran away." "Oh" Josh said sadly. The old lady apologized then hang up. " This is the worst thing ever!" Thought Josh. When Rey got done eating she got let out to a field of grass to do his business. When it was dark Rey got let back in. Then she curled up and went to sleep. Then next day it was the same only in the morning the older lab wouldn't walked up. A little bit later a man came and carried him away. For the rest of the day Rey thought about how much she wanted to be with Josh. Meanwhile while Josh was hanging up more posters that week Josh revived lots of calls about seeing Rey but nobody had her.
