The Willow Tree {A G.D. Story}

Chapter 4

FRIDAY (THE DAY OF THE DATE)

At 12:00 Kim walked nervously to the park where Grayson said the date would be. (Date outfit above) Lucky for her the park was right next to her apartment building. She gets to the park and Grayson is nowhere to be seen. "I shouldn't have believed he would actually show up," Kim thought to herself. With tears threatening to spill over she turns around only to run into Grayson...again. She immediately smiles when she see that he packed a whole basket of food and brought a cute blanket for them to sit on. "Wow...you look beautiful Kim," Grayson  whispers. Kim blushed and says"Thank you! Where are we sitting?" Grayson takes Kim's hand and says, "Follow me I know a perfect spot!" Grayson takes her to a huge, beautiful, and old willow tree that he once found on a secret trail. It's in the middle of a small, hidden meadow and as she sees it Kim gasps and says, "This place is beautiful Grayson! How did you gind it?" As he's laying the stuff out he replies, "Well I love adventures and one day when I was bored I randomly wandered around the park and I found this." Kim and Grayson then sit down and talk for hours as they eat the food that Grayson prepared. As the afternoon goes on they lay and look at the clouds in the sky and argue and laugh about the different shapes they form. At around 4:00 Kim decides she needs to go home and prepare for the long day she has the next day. With a sigh she says, "Grayson, I would love to stay and talk some more but I have a lot to do tomorrow that I need to prepare for." Grayson frowns and says, "Ok, well at least let me take you home." Kim replies, "Why not?" She points at her apartment building and says "I walked here from over there so it's not too far. I live on the top floor." Shocked, Grayson says, "Really?! That's where Ethan and I live, but we live on the bottom floor!" "Oh that's cool," Kim says. With a big smile Grayson takes her hand and says "Let's go! I'll intproduce you to Ethan on our way up to your place!" "Ok!" Kim says.
