I'm sitting on the couch with Jasmine and Jay watching, Austin Powers Gold member then I heard a knock on the door, I get up and look out the peep hole and roll my eyes then I open the door
"Joseline" I say nonchalantly
"Come on that's how you greet daddy" she said
"Girl please" I turn around and walk back to my spot on the couch then she comes and sits next to me staring a hole in my face
"What Joseline"I ask
"Nothin but damn that's how it is" I paused the movie and snap my head at her so quick
"Jay" I said
"Yes ma'am"
"Take Jasmine upstairs" i said then her and jasmine jumped up and left I stand up
"YES THATS ALWAYS HOW IT IS CAUSE YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO BE FAITHFUL JOSELINE" I yelled
"SO WE BACK ON THIS BULLSHIT" she yelled
"YES WE BACK ON THIS BULLSHIT UNTIL YOU STOP FUCKIN WITH OTHER PEOPLE" I yelled as I headed for the kitchen with Joseline on my heels
"YOU KNOW WHAT I SICK OF THIS"
"SICK OF WHAT YOU ASSHOLE" I yelled
"CHILL THAT SHIT OUT BEFORE I SHOW YOU A REAL ASSHOLE" she yelled
"YOU KNOW WHAT WE DONT EVEN HAVE TO TALK UNLESS ITS ABOUT JAY AND YOU CAN LEAVE" I yelled as I walked upstairs and slammed my door
Jay p.o.v
After hearing my parents fight I was scared but it's not like I haven't, heard it that's the reason why they split up cause they can't get along. I move up on my bed I just looked up at the ceiling play connect the dots with it
"Do they always fight like that" jasmine asked
"Well yeah but no"
"I remember when my parents use to argue, but one day it turned into more" she said and I sat up she was on the side of the bed looking at the wall
"What happened.... if you don't mind me asking" I say
"Your fine after all I'm 15 I can handle telling you this, well the arguing started when I was 10 cause that's when they started loosing money my dad lost his job and my mom had a miscarriage that caused both of them to lose their minds, then I started acting out in school so my teachers would call my house but no one would answer my mom use to lock herself in the bathroom and my dad used to come home drunk and abuse my mom, so that's why she would hide in the bathroom then one day she couldn't take being beaten anymore so she went to the gun store and brought and 22mm she came home and waited for my dad to come as soon as he stepped in the door she shot him my dads last words to me were "love you princess" I said I love you back then he died then my mom turned to gun to herself and she said "I miss you baby girl" then I heard the gun go off once again blood splattered everywhere I ran outside to get my neighbor she call the cops and they took me in to custody then I became property of the state none of my family came all of them said that they didn't or couldn't care for me so I bounced from house to house and I always got sent back but it hurts to know that your own family didn't want you" she said as she wiped tears away I pull her into a hug then my door opens revealing my momma
"Aye jay you comin with me" she asked
"No ma'am" I said she came and kissed my head and left out my room I know where she's going and I don't like it
"Come on girls" I heard causing us to get up
"We're going to the mall" see my mom is a stress shopper and she buys what she doesn't need when she gets like this
At the mall
We go in almost every store we each have 10 bags each then she wants to go to Walmart so she can stress eat we go up and down every isle and she throws everything from chips to cake and yogurt in the cart then we see my moms ex boyfriend Brian I really liked him but he hurt my mom he walks up to us
"Hey y'all wassup" he asked
"Nothing" me and jasmine said then he pulls me to the side
"Wassup with ya moms lilbit and why she got all that junk in her cart" he whispered
"Her and my momma had a fight and now she's stress eating" I whispered we walked back to her and she was putting fruit snacks in the cart as she slowly walked down the isle no even minding the fact that Brian is in her presence Brian says good bye and walks away then we go pay for the stuff and leave
