Raising his bow towards the target with his arm pulled back, and eyes narrowed in concentration Prince Phantomhive was currently in the middle of his archery practice. Inhaling and exhaling he closed his eyes before opening them again to release the arro-

"Ciel!!"

Startled by the sudden intrusion, Ciel ended up directing and releasing the arrow towards the extra supply of ice arrows sitting at next to the entrance to the arena. Given that these ice arrows encased whatever they hit into solid ice, the once box of arrows was now an ice cube. Normally this wasn't an issue, Ciel's archery skills were nearly flawless and he rarely ever missed, always hitting the target dead center; which were specially designed so that they wouldn't turn to ice.

Putting a hand to his head Ciel sighed in frustration turning to glare slightly at his blonde-haired overly hyper (unfortunately) best-friend.

"Alois! How many times must you interrupt my archery practice?"

"Sorry, I'll be quieter next time, but right now, you're needed for the banquet! Did you forget?"

Ciel gasped, Alois was right how could he have forgotten about the banquet?! He was supposed to meet with Lord Frances to discuss canceling his engagement with Lady Elizabeth. Setting his (personal) bow and arrow down into his case quickly, yet still making sure he didn't damage anything, he handed the case to Alois as he ran out of the arena.

"Put that back in my room for me!"

When Ciel finally reached the main dining hall Lord Frances, Lady Elizabeth and Sebastian were already sitting at table conversing with one another, and didn't seem to notice the blue-haired boy enter the room. Slightly out of breath, he tried to remain his composure and kneeled down onto one knee in front of the three.

"Lord Frances and Lady Elizabeth I deeply apologize for being tardy to our appointment as well as my unseemly appearance. King Michaelis I also apologize for disgracing your name, but please do not take this as a reflection towards His Majesty my Lord; the fault falls solely on me."

"Ciel relax, we have a few minutes to spare, do get up."

Ciel sighed in relief before sitting down and clearing his throat to face Lord Frances and Lady Elizabeth.

"My Lord, you may be wondering why I've requested for you to meet with me today."

Lord Frances nodded indicating for him to continue.

"I do not wish to beat around the bush, so I will get straight to the point. I wish for you to grant me permission for you and your daughter to hear me out before responding."

Ciel pauses once more to make sure they didn't have anything else to say before continuing once more.

"My La- Lizzy, we've been friends since childhood, but I hope you can understand. I do love you, but platonically as a sister I never had. I regret to say that I wish to break off the engagement. I'd rather let you know now. I think it'll end up bad for your emotional well-being if we were to get married since I don't have mutual romantics feeling towards you. Lord Frances, I do hope you can forgive me."

Ciel finished, bowing his head down for the two once more.

Lizzy blinked before finally speaking as her lips formed a small smile.

"No hard feelings Ciel, it means so much to that you've prioritized my well-being. I hold no resentment towards you."

Lizzy turned to her father with a knowing look.

"Well Prince Phantomhive this was rather unexpected but as my daughter said, no hard feelings. If that is all you wish to discuss then we shall be on our way."

Letting out a breath he didn't know he as holding, Ciel smiled in appreciation before getting up to accompany the two out of the hall. The head butler Tanaka who was standing by the doorway, led them the rest of the way out of the palace once they reached the entrance.

Closing the door, Ciel pressed his back to it, closed his eyes and sighed in relief as- contrary to what Ciel thought would happen- the whole affair went off without any complications.

Opening his eyes a pair of lips unexpectedly met his. Sebastian held both of Ciel's wrists back as he attacked his mouth hungrily. He licked Ciel's bottom lip to ask permission to enter which the latter gladly obliged to. Their tongues fought for dominance in a frenzy before the two broke apart due to lack of air.

Sebastian released Ciel's arms to embrace him lovingly and leaned down so their foreheads touched. Ciel panted softly and sighed in content leaning into the hug.

"God, I love you so much." Sebastian whispered.

"I love you too....so fucking much..."

"You don't know how relieved I was to hear that they didn't object to canceling the engagement."

Ciel chuckled softly, lightly placing a loving and passionate kiss to Sebastian's cheek, smiling up at the ravenette.

"You and me both."

Sebastian leaned down to trail light, feathery kisses down Ciel's neck, trying to find his sweet spot. Once he found it , he started sucking to which Ciel couldn't help but moan.

"Ah!"

Embarrassed, Ciel covered his mouth to prevent other sounds he was tempted to let out from escaping as Sebastian continued ravishing his neck; leaving marks now as he continued towards Ciel's collarbone. Sebastian removed his hand from his mouth, so Ciel now bit down on his lip. His body failed him however when the elder of the two thrust his hips to his growing arousal.

"Nghh...Sebastian, stop, please."

Sebastian's paused what he was doing as he started to stimulate Ciel by palming him in between the younglings legs.

"What's wrong? Did I hurt you?"

Sebastian gazed down at the brunette concerned and placed a hand on his cheek stroking it lovingly.

"No it's just, I don't want to take this too far yet, please don't take it the wrong way."

Ciel looked away from Sebastian a little ashamed, a light blush dusting his adorable baby face.

Sebastian placed a hand under his chin and lifted it lightly so crimson eyes now met Crulean ones, taking note of the worry, unease and slight fear pooling in those blue orbs.

"You don't need to look so afraid, love I'm not angry with you. I won't do anything you don't want me to during our intimate moments. Just let me know if I do anything you're uncomfortable with."

Sebastian tried to reassure Ciel as his comfort was top priority to him in their relationship. He could feel a sharp pain in his heart as his gaze landed on the mark in his right eye, as if he mark was mocking him for the biggest mistake he's ever made.

Sebastian wrapped his arms around Ciel even tighter burying his face into the crook of his neck to he wouldn't seem him break down right then and there.

"Sebastian...?"

"I'm so sorry love, so, so sorry...."

Sebastian could feel Ciel return the embrace as he pulled away to see his smirking. Leaning in to his ear and giving it a lick, he bit down on the lobe to whisper seductively

"That mark now simply means I belong solely to you..."

Grinning devilishly back, Sebastian pushed Ciel down onto the table before whispering back into Ciel's ear.

"Oh you're going to regret that, little one...."
