Namjoon stared at his reflection in the mirror in the men's restroom. He looked like a hot mess. His eyes were red and slightly swollen from all that crying he did. His nose and cheeks were also red and he just wanted to go home and sleep or better yet, go back to his boyfriend's apartment and have the younger cuddle him and spoil him to death. Hell, he would die happy.
"At least I didn't throw up the breakfast Kookie made for me. His first time cooking for me and it was so good." The older sniffled thinking about his bunny.
"Great now I'm talking to myself like I'm crazy." The male huffed taking a deep breath, washed his face up to help with the swelling and redness before making his way back to his studio. He couldn't hide forever. He'll eventually have to face the past head on.
"God, I miss Kookie already." He sighed as he pushed his studio's door open to reveal his past on the couch waiting quietly for him.
'Oh fuck me.'
"Jo-" The dark brown haired male got up as soon as he saw Namjoon but the pink haired individual wasn't having it.
"Namjoon." He didn't mean for the word to come out so harsh but right now, he didn't give a fuck where the other was concerned.
"Ok. Sorry. Namjoon." Seongwoo muttered staring down at his feet but Namjoon just clicked his tongue and walked towards his chair taking a seat.
He powered on his computer spinning in his chair waiting for the device to boot up.
"You changed, a lot." The brown haired male spoke, breaking the awkward silence.
"That happens. People change. It's how life is." Namjoon replied simply, getting annoyed at how long the computer was taking.
"Yea....Uh...N-Namjoon?"
What the fuck? Was this really the same arrogant, selfish piece of shit from back in high school? Why was he being so cautious around the pink haired male? The last time Namjoon checked he had no reason to be cautious at all.
"What?" Namjoon asked sighing in relief when his computer finally came on as he started clicking away at the keyboard.
"I missed you."
Namjoon's fingers paused hovering over the keys, trembling ever so slightly. The Namjoon in the past would've been happy to hear those words but the current Namjoon, the one who has a very loving boyfriend who waited years for a chance to call the pink haired male his, that Namjoon was very confused and slightly pissed.
"D-Did you hear what I said?" The brown haired male mumbled. Namjoon could hear the nervousness in his voice.
"Yes I heard." He replied nonchalantly then proceeded to type away on his keyboard once more.
Seongwoo sighed ruffling his hair in frustration. "That's it? Aren't you happy?"
Namjoon laughed humorlessly.
"Maybe back in high school I would've been over the moon but right now, I don't give a fuck."
Seongwoo walked over to him, spinning Namjoon's chair around slamming his hands against the arms of the chair growling slightly that did nothing for the younger like it use to.
'Kookie's growl is hell of a lot more better and sexier.'
"Anyone would've been more than happy to hear an apology from me." The male grunted out.
Namjoon scoffed. "Well I'm not just anyone and you didn't even fucking apologize, not like it matters anyway. Saying you miss me don't mean shit to me. Did you expect me to bawl and say I miss you too?"
