Beep ,Beep I heard my alarm clock ring. Six thirty my clock read. "Ugh school " I mumbled getting up and reaching for my light blue contacts. As I got ready I headed downstairs where I heard my mom yell "Ariel breakfast's ready!" I walked into the kitchen where I heard my dad clear his throat. "ummm yes?" I asked him curiously. "Ariel you are not going to school like that!" my dad snapped. " Why is it to short for you? "I said sarcastically. " Ariel your fathers right you know us vampires cannot show that much skin!" my mom said. " Whatever, " I said heading to the fridge to get and drink. Beep,Beep.. My phone buzzed.. Jacklin: Hey Ariel Chris is looking for you oh and were still meeting up at the coffee shop right? I read out loud. Yeah I'm heading out right now.. I replied. Bye mom ! I yelled grabbing my keys and heading out the door. To my surprise Chris was waiting for me in his car. Christopher Fields is the captain of the football team, and he's also my boyfriend. When Chris saw me he rushed out of his car to help me with my purse. "Ariel hey ," Lucas my neighbor said waving. "Hi," I began to say before Chris picked me up and put me in his car.
"Babe drop me off at the coffee shop.." I said. Them coffee shop is where me and my three best friends Jacklin Boulreguard , Alissa Reynolds,and Anna Reed hang out.. We discuss being popular me my clothes and stuff. When we arrived at the coffee shop Chris and I got into and argument because Chris wouldn't let me out of the car. Well to my surprise my ex boyfriend Jonah was walking down the street. " Ugh your so over protective, " I whined. I heard a knock on the window.. Ariel you coming? Anna said waving bye to her boyfriend Josh who is also on the football team. "Guess that's my Q.. " I said giving Chris a light kiss and leaving. The girls as usual commented on my outfit and we discussed our daily routines, I knew the owner of the coffee shop so we got a discount, and of course I gave her beauty tips. "Hey let's head back to school," I said leaving a tip and heading through the door. Anchorwood High School was a school were cheer leading and football were the two things next to prom queen. I was the cheer captain ,and Chris was the football captain.. As we entered the school the hallways completely parted as I heard gasps and comments on my outfit. My group included the girls and I, then the jocks and the unpopular cheer leaders, then there were the jocks, and last but not least the wannabes. They followed me around like lost puppies, following my every move. Gwen Steer's the news team questioned me on my outfits and the cheer squad. As I approached my locker the hallway parted back together like a zipper. I dismissed my Posey as Alissa held my books. Chris grabbed the books out of Allissa's hands, and put them in my locker. "Hey ," Sean Allissa's boyfriend said giving her a kiss. He and well all of our boyfriends are on the football team. Jackin peered around the corner with David's arms wrapped tightly around her waste. " Hey , get a room!! " we teased. Sean (Alissa's boyfriend ) looked calm for once , he grabbed Alyssa and dragged her to his locker...
" Girls let's go!!" I said .. The girls formed our usual triangle walk as the jocks , other cheerleaders , the reporters, and the wannabes followed.. "Ugh l've got math!!" I pouted.. "We all have different classes Ariel!" Chris said putting his arm around my waist. "Ariel I have math class to!!" Jacklin said excitedly. Everyone split up into there classes , but for some odd reason Jacklin and David went the opposite way.. As we began to go down the long exhausting stairs , I saw Jonah going up the stairs... "He-".. I began to say before Chris shoved me up against a wall, and kissed me roughly.. I shoved him off of me, and looked at him weirdly. Chris just shrugged and kept on walking.. I tried to walk a little slower but Chris would always wait for me. " Mercedes here reporting live from the south hallway where I have Ariel rocking. a fabulous neon dress-" I heard from behind me.. "Ugh Mercedes please I'm not up for the poparottzi right now.." I said covering my face as a swarm of people with cameras approached me.. "Alright move away.. she's got class feel free to bug her then.." Chris said rummaging through the hallway. When we reached class , I was 20 minutes late.. I gave Chris a pec on the cheek, which turned into a kiss, before walking into class. "Late again Ms. Winston?" I heard Mr. Jackson say.. " Oh sorry but did I mention, your hair has so much volume.." I lied. I saw as he stared at me intensely. Word around the school is that he has a thing for me.. " Mhh go ahead and sit down honey.." I heard Mr. J say. As I sat down next to Jacklin, I heard a very familiar voice.. say "Ariel you have pre algebra to!!" It was my next for neighbor Lucas. Jacklin, Lucas, and I talked all period long, there was only a couple of stares , well a lot of blowing kisses from Mr. Jackson, but other than that everything went well.
When the bell rang, Jacklin waved bye to me because she needs to go to the bathroom. "Do you need me to walk you to your locker?" Lucas said putting his hands in his black skinny jean pants. "Umm sure, I guess..": I said walking to my locker. Chris looked angry so Lucas dismissed himself. " Hey babe what's up with you? " I said opening my locker. "Let's go!" Chris said angrily. I tried to move away from Chris but he yanked my arm, I could feel the bruises forming..
