Forgetful

Hospital gowns and tubes attached to your shoulder.

You were too weak to even raise your arm up, so you were just lying there. You didn't remember anything and you wanted to know why you were suddenly lying down in a hospital bed. Everything you tried remembering just came as a blur to you.

While you were still wandering around in your thoughts, a nurse enters and sees you awake. she is shocked and runs out of the room to call a doctor. The doctor walks into the room and calls for your parents.

" OH THANK GOD YOU'RE OKAY (Y/N), WE THOUGHT WE WERE GOING TO LOSE YOU!" Your mother said while she was crying with her arms around you.

" W-what happened, why am I here? Did something happen to me? Who are you people and why am I suddenly in a hospital bed???" You asked with confusion in your voice.

" You were walking to the market when a truck hit you, you got serious head injuries and we didn't think you would survive. And since you got those head injuries, it triggered amnesia, so you won't be able to remember anything anymore. But these are your parents and they rushed over here as quickly as they could when they heard that you were in the hospital." Your doctor said in a serious tone.

"O-oh, so I can't remember anything at all? Like, not even my childhood? Or what I did yesterday?"You asked with a shocked tone.

"As I said before, you have horrible head injuries and there was a lot of blood loss. So no, you won't be able to remember anything. You just have to make with it, it was the only thing we could do. The only thing you can remember is what will happen now, and what you will do for the rest of your well being." He said with his arms on his laps and his legs crossed.

"Good news though! You get to go back home tomorrow since you are well rested and the condition is better now." He said with a cheerful tone.

" Oh, Alright." You said as you curled back into bed. you were silent for the rest of the day and night. You wanted to go home and eat something because all they were feeding you garbage. You just wanted to know why it happened. "Maybe if I weren't such a klutz I wouldn't be in this mess, UgHHHGHGHG.," you said with a long sigh.

-TIME SKIP BECAUSE WHY NOT-

The nurses were escorting you to the front of the hospital in a wheelchair because you couldn't walk correctly yet. You've been out for a solid week, and your legs got numb due to the lack of walking, well you didn't even walk at all so YeA. One by one they helped you into your car and closed the door. They gave your parents some medication for you to take so you won't be falling asleep in class and to be able to walk without your legs shaking. You sat there in silence while your parents drove back home. "Now (Y/N), next time, just ask one of us to go to the market instead.

"Haha, yea I know now mom." You place your head in your hand and stared out the window while your parents drove home. Man, what a day...
