Yuri (warning: this contains REAL BOOK NAMES!! Besides parfait girls)

Natsuki was laying in Sayori's lap reading "Parfait Girls." A strange choice of book if you ask me. Sayori was reading "Everything Everything"

Monika did say nothing good was to come out of this club. But she kept it. We like it here now. Everything seems to fit into place now. Except Monika.

Monika won't really speak to us, like her vocabulary was suddenly nonexistent after she explained everything. Natsuki says all she does is play that song on her grand piano.

I've actually memorized it, because she plays it so much. Catchy. But Monika isn't the problem. It's all of our relationships. It's like if a famous
nursery rhyme, or fairy tale, was flipped and turned dark.

Natsuki is really making her feel bad.

"She made me snap my neck! And she made Sayori hang herself, and made you have a weird obsession with knives and cutting. And you stabbed yourself because of her!" That's her argument.

Well, I've sorta always had a weird thing for knives. But not self harm, and... ugh. It's weird how people can twist your words. Or in my case, bend your blades.

"Yuri!!" Sayori yelled, catching me out of my thoughts.

     "W-what, Sayori?" I asked.

"Are you in love with somebody?" She replied, tilting her head. Natsuki closed her book slightly, obviously listening.

"U-um.. well I uh.." I glanced around uncomfortably.  At this moment, as if reading my mind and saying I've got your back, Monika walked in the room, looking sorry.

"Everybody, I have something to say. I'm over the player. I have a new interest. So if you all could please  forgive me for playing that song over and over, staying secluded, and not even apologizing in the most kindhearted way." She said, with sincerity in her voice.

I noticed how she didn't say "him" and said "player." We all just sat there, which was awkward , then we all said okay. Awkward.

"We accept your apology Monika. Who is your new love interest?" Sayori said, the first one to properly form a sentence.

"It's a girl. That's all I will say. But I've got to go. Tata!" She said, grabbing her beanie and coat. She walked out.

"That girl is seriously mental." Natsuki said, going back to her book. Maybe. It didn't matter.

Seeing Sayori and Natsuki so in love and so happy makes me a little sad. I like a girl, but I have no idea if she even notices it. It doesn't matter. The club can be my girlfriend for now.

            /time skip to sundown\

"Goodbye Natsuki. Goodbye Sayori. I hope you sleep well tonight." I said as I made my way out of the clubroom, as they were hugging.

Walking down the sidewalk when it's almost dark is very unnerving. I went quickly back to my house, happy to get warmer in front of the fireplace.

Turning on the lights, turning on the gas fire, and laying down in a pallet of blankets made me feel like a little kid again. I recited my favorite poems inside my head, which helps me fall asleep quickly.

I also hoped to dream about what it's like to be in love.
