Kuch Kuch Hota Hai ( Completed )

Part 12

Ishita was shocked with sudden change of events in last 1 hour. A week more and she will be somebody wife... Mere mention of this word makes her uncomfortable. She was confused about her own feeling, she should be happy that all the complexity will be sorted with this marriage. Small seeds of love which were again resurfacing her heart will again die; this time forever. Everything will be finished. She will become someone's wife whom her mother choose, whose happiness mattered the most.

On the other side, ground beneath his legs slipped once he got the news of her marriage. A while ago when he was packing not sure about his own feeling, Abhi informed him about their pre poned marriage, that very moment something ached inside his heart. But it made everything crystal clear. It was pleasant realization for him that he has indeed fallen in love with his best friend.

Their relationship might be normal to others like before but he knew how special and dependent the other is on one. She has become a need like oxygen to breathe. Though this realization brought him out of the confusion which was building in his mind from long time but at the same time he cannot deny the fact that it will only make the situation messier. He has fallen in love with a girl who was getting married in a week but was she happy with this decision...

Ishita was lost in thoughts, sleep long deprived from her eyes tonight, not because of a her upcoming marriage like any other girl, but with a sudden events.

Ruhi entered her room with silent steps.

Ruhi - Ishita Aunty

Ishita - Rooh.. Ap yahan

Ruhi - Aunty You are leaving me too

Her sudden question shook her from inside. With teary eyes, only thing she could do was to hug her tight.

She caressed her hairs, kissing her forehead, took her in arms.

Ishita - Kya hua beta

Ruhi - Abhi uncle told me you are getting married to him next week. You are leaving me.

Ishita - Aisa kuch nahi hai. I m not leaving you. You will always remain special for me. 
Ruhi just hugged her with some fear growing inside her heart.

Soon she slept in her arms while she settled Ruhi besides her. She was patting her head, tears flowing through her eyes.

Ishita - Murgun please.. Please 
She could only utter this sobbing caressing her head. Soon exhaustion took over, she gave herself to sleep.

Raman who came searching for Ruhi found Ishita's door slightly open. Knocking it once he entered seeing a beautiful sight in front of him. Ruhi was sleeping hugging Ishita tight hiding in her chest while Ishita was protectively holding her.

Taking slow steps towards them he sat besides them. Involuntarily he kissed both the angels admiring them at the same time. Capturing their final picture in his eyes he went out to have some fresh air.

Raman was sitting on a bench lost deeply in stars when someone tapped his shoulders.

Abhi - Hey buddy. Yahan kya kar rahe ho. Neend nahi aa rahi

Raman shifted a little making some space for him to settle - Nothing like that. Usual

Abhi - Hmm. Raman I hope made up your plan for next week. I want to come at least 3 days before marriage.

Raman - Next week

Abhi - Yah and did you decided from whom side you will be. I know it's obvious you will come from your friend's side but this time ladkoon wale ki taraf se. See I don't have anyone. My parents died in air crash and most of my cousins are in foreign. So you see I have very less people in my side.

Raman smiled a little - You are nice guy. I know you will keep her happy always.

Abhi - Hey that doesn't mean I ll leave you. Buddy you have to be on my side.

Raman - Abhi I m sorry but main shaadi mein nahi aa pauga.

Abhi - Not fair Raman. Tumhare best friend ki shaadi and you will not come. Acha baba you be from her side but you have to come. Please

Raman - Abhi but

Abhi - No but If .. You are coming and that's final.

Raman just shook his head positively.

Raman - I should sleep now .. It's very late. Good night abhi

Abhi - Good night 
Raman stood up and left while Abhi just smiled - Pagal hai dono

Next day

Raman settled his luggage in car while Ruhi and Toshiji were sitting in car thats when Ishita came.

Ishita - Ja rahe ho

Raman - Hmm.. Jana toh padega. Koi wajah bhi toh nahi

Ishita - Kya

Raman smiled - Jauga nahi toh tumahari shaadi mein kaise aauga

Ishita - You will come

Raman was about to reply when Abhi interrupted him - Off course how can your marriage happen without him. He is your best friend. Usse aana hi hoga. Haina Raman

Raman - Yeah

Abhi left them alone and went to Ruhi to wish them adieu

Ishita Raman were looking at each with teary eyes. A tear was about to fall from his eye when he broke the eyelock and look down.

Raman - So much dust.

He wiped his tear making a silly excuse while she did the same agreeing with him.

Raman - All the best for your new life. Bhagwaan kare tumhe woh sab mile jo tumne chaaha hai.

Ishita - Meri chahat

Raman - Bye take care

He extended his hand towards her while she shook her head. 

Ishita - Bye Raman.

With heavy heart they withdrew their hands apart. Raman left  while Ishita was still standing there seeing him going away from her.

Abhi - Kuch din ki baat hai. We will meet him soon. 

She smiled a little and went to do her final packing.

Abhi  - Ishita I promise you iss baar tumhe woh sab milaga jo tumne chaha hai.
