Twelve o'six. Thats what time it was, thats how late this crazy ass gym leader trains. She finally decided I had enough at this time?!? She's fucking insane. I haven't eaten all day and she didn't even give me a fucking water!! I was pissed.

I love challenges, I do. Except this one. She's been smirking at me all day, and all because she wanted to prove a point. She didn't give me a water just to prove point!!! I'll give her props, only because she did accomplish her goal. I was impressed, angry but impressed. She proved she was worth my time, that she wasn't just some whimy gym leader.

I opened the fridge, stomach growling, only to have it shut in my face. Behind it was the reason I was starving so much.

She still wants to prove she's right I thought.

I may have a lot of respect for her now, then I did, but no way am I going to admit that. My pride won't let me.

"Paul, did you learn your lesson?" She smiled innocently.

"Hn....there was nothing to learn" I smirked at her. I got the upper hand now, I win.

"Oh ok then, goodnight!" She waved in my face, shooing me out.

Or maybe not....

"Misty..." I growled.

"No Paul, you underestimated what Im capable of, as a gym leader and teacher" She crossed her arms and glared at me.

"Im not apologizing, I have nothing to be sorry for."

"Of course you don't, is that your pride talking or you? Be a man Paul, admit that your wrong, admit that my style is amazing!" Misty shouted at me.

"Oh wait," She continued,"You can't,  you can't because you haven't seen my real training yet."

"I just went through it today" I growled at her. I towerd over her, inches apart from her face.

"No Paul, no you didn't. What you went through today was bullshit. I don't train people to were they almost die, you've learned nothing today Paul. You know I'm really training you when you learn something. Gain something!"

I can't belive so much yelling can come from such a small girl. We were so close, are bodies, faces. I just wanted to win, show her I was right about her, about everything. I couldn't, she wasn't Dawn, she faught back, instead of cower. She took my challenge.  Maybe I should tell her my real opinion, stop lying. She already has a big enough ego, me making it bigger won't hurt anything.

"You were right" I mutterd, looking away.

"Really now?" Her face mischievous,"Go on."

"Today's training was worthless, all I did was run laps and battle you a couple times. I hated it, I'd like to see what Misty Waterflowers training is really like" I groaned inside. That, was a little to nice for comfort.

"Good, even if I go alittle soft?" She smiled.

"Yes, can I have dinner now?" My tummy grumbled right on queue. Misty giggled.

"Sure, Spaghetti or Pasta?"

"Spaghetti." I said.

She grinned and pulled out the ingredients, while I watched. Maybe her training isn't that bad after all.
