One- Just friends

It was another day outside after school and Richie and Eddie were waiting for the rest of the losers when Eddie put his head on Richies lap from being tired, Richie looked down and smiled at him then said

"Aww is my Eddie spaghetti tired?"

He looked up and said in a quiet but demanding voice "yea i am and don't call me that!"

Richie chuckled at Eddie's cute but demanding voice and started playing with his hair as Eddie slowly fell asleep to the soft motion of Richies hand in his hair

After awhile of him playing with Eddie's hair he was fully asleep on Richies lap outside, when Richie heard something behind him therefore making him turn around to find Bev walking up to the two boys.

"Hey guys" Bev said smiling at the two not realizing Eddie was on Richies lap

Richie stopped playing with Eddie's hair for a second and looked up at Bev to say hi but before he could say anything Bev said

"Awww is he sleeping on you! That's so cute" she squealed excited.

"No it's not like that, Eddie was just tired and needed some rest ok..." there was a slight bit of blush forming on Richies face "besides we arent gay!" Richie brought his voice up so he was yelling now. Which startled Eddie causing him to wake up.

"Ok, ok" Bev said as they waited for everyone else. Then they all got to the spot.

"S-s-so how a-a-about that s-s-sleepover tomorrow Bev" Bill asked.

"Yea you guys can come anytime tomorrow morning, my dad is on a business trip so we will have the whole house to ourselves."

"Sounds great" they all said surprised her dad was leaving her alone.

For the rest of the day they all sat there and talked until everyone went home besides Richie and Eddie, they stayed for awhile more as Eddie kept his head resting on Richie until Richie broke the silence.

"So.... we should probably go soon it's getting late and i dont want your mother to worry about you" Eddie tilted his head up slowly opening his eyes and whispered " yea you're right." then lifted his head no longer on Richie and they started walking in the same direction until they reached Eddie's house, they then said there goodbyes and waved to each other as Eddie went inside and fell asleep on his bed. Thinking about what Bev had said about them looking cute.

No im not... gay... being gay is a sin.

But soon that thought left his head and he started thinking of Richie and how he didn't flinch when Eddie layed his head on him, and how his smile made his day so much better.

What is wrong with me I dont... I dont like Richie that way he is just a fri- but before he could finish that thought his mom walked in the room asking how his day was and if he was ok but Eddie shooed her away. Then fell asleep.
