DAJAH POV
Waking up at 6:00 every morning is a struggle for me. Not being a morning person, I dragged my self from the bed barley moving my legs to the bathroom. As I did my daily hygiene, I heard a door slam. I ran downstairs to see my mom spaced out as usual, drugged up, and beat up. I helped her to her room and put her to bed before leaving out for school.

Arriving at school, I saw Dee walking into the building. I ran up to her and we went to class. Around lunch time I saw Chris walking in the cafeteria, I shot a quick glance at him walking with Crystal, the most popular girl at Eastwood High. Forgetting that I was staring he walked up to me and it brought me back to reality.
"He...he...hey! , I was just umm..."
".....Starring?" Chris sarcastically said"
"Yeah sure whatever, Dajah responded."
"I've been seeing you look at me for the past few days. Chris said laughing."
"Um I always stare at people. Is that a problem?"
"Nah, I was just saying. But you cute, you should hmu some times" Chris said handing her a paper with his number on it.
Dajah blushed as her friend Dee walked over and asked "Girl what you smiling for?"
"Chris just gave me his number!" Dajah responded
"Oo girl you better work, you gone call him?" Dee asked
"We'll duh.. I mean he the finest nigga in this school" Dajah said responding to the question
"Whatever, let's go" Dee said getting up from the table.

Chris POV
Walking into history class I see Dajah. I took a seat by her.
"You again....huh?" Chris said laughing
"SHUTUP little boy" Dajah said
"Ayy don't get to offensive ma" Chris says
"Since when was my name ma?" Dajah said being smart
"Okay Ms Dajah" Chris said smiling
Once the teacher walked in we got started with our work.

"School is finally over." Dajah thought to herself.
Getting into the car, and arriving at home was the best part. Laying on my bed was the best feeling ever after school.
