It's early morning as Naruto is heading towards the Hokage's office to continue his duties as the Hokage.
Naruto: Man...this is annoying. Shikamaru told me that today we'll start work early in the morning but I never knew it was 4 am until yesterday in the middle of the night. I mean, who the hell works at 4 am?
???- Hey Naruto, What's up?
Naruto- Kakashi Sensei?? What are you doing early in the morning? I thought you'd be sleeping like a log now that you're finally taking a vacation.
Kakashi- Nothing.. just taking a walk. Even if I am resting now, a shinobi's duty to protect the village never stops.
Naruto- Some things never change, do they? Heheheh...
Kakashi- Yeah some things never change, Like you being an irresponsible brat! You're late for your work, I met Shikamaru on the way and he told me to notify you if I see you.
Naruto- Haha... Sorry! Gotta go...
Kakashi- One more thing.
Naruto- What is it?
Kakashi- How's he doing??
Naruto- No idea... Its been 4 years now. I hope he's doing ok. But, he's under Sasuke's guidance so I think we shouldn't worry. Anyways... goodbye sensei!
Leaf village entrance gate :
???- Yeah!!!!! we're finally back!
???- Don't get too ahead of yourself, We'll stay here for just an hour, go meet your mom.
???- Yeah yeah...
Hokage's Office :
Shikamaru- You're late.
Naruto- Actually I met Kakashi Sensei on the way!
Shikamaru- I know that working at 4 AM in the morning is a drag... but still, it was your idea to go on an early morning mission again after all these years.
Naruto- I know I know... After becoming the Hokage... I kinda lost my Ninja-ness...
???- What's Ninja-ness??? ;-;
Naruto- Huh? Oh hey Boruto!!!! And Sasuke Too!!!!!! You're back!!!!
Naruto then runs towards Boruto and hugs him tightly
Naruto- Man... You've grown so much! You almost look like me now.
Boruto- Hehe... Dad, I've learned so many new Jutsu from uncle Sasuke that I can probably beat you in a fight!
Naruto- That's great!! Thanks for teaching my son, Sasuke!
Sasuke- Hmph...
Naruto- This reminds me of back in the day when I returned after three years of training with Pervy Sage. (Jiraiya)

Naruto- Oh yeah! You see Since things are peaceful between every Nation right now, I wanted to do a world tour to check out what every village is up to.
Boruto- What?! You seriously interrupted my training for a field trip?
Sasuke- Boruto, The world tour is necessary to verify if every village is actually in peace or not and besides, you'll train everywhere if I'm with you.
Naruto- Hehe.. when did you become such a teacher? Sasuke?
Sasuke- Shut up...
Boruto- But why do I need to go?
Naruto- That's just because I want to tour the world with my beloved son and best friend!
Boruto- Sigh...
Sasuke- Don't complain... just go and pack up your things!
Boruto- Ok... fine..
Boruto leaves
Sasuke- Why are you hiding the true purpose of this mission from him?
Shikamaru- There's a group of rogue ninja calling themselves "Kara".

Naruto- It was a mistake to let Boruto kill him. Kara is looking for him and I cannot let them roam around freely.
Sasuke- So your plan is to lure Kara using Boruto and when they appear, you finish them.
Naruto- That's right, But Boruto is still a kid. He may panic if we take him with us on such a mission.
Sasuke- Heh...
Naruto- What's the matter?
Sasuke- It seems that you don't know your son quite well...
Naruto- Huh?
Boruto heard everything sneaking behind the door
Boruto- Tch! He still thinks that I am a kid huh?! Well, we'll see about that!
